  Outstanding location, value, and service

  I stayed at Hotel Indigo for 8 nights in December due to its proximity to Friedrichshain's nightlife, restaurants, art installations, and Uber Arena as well as the apparent value of the rooms relative to other options. I was not disappointed. This is such a nice location from which to explore the city, as so many great bars, restaurants, techno clubs, shops, etc. are within a short walk, including access to U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations. The hotel itself is clean, modern, spacious, and feels connected to the aesthetic of the neighborhood (in as much as possible anyway for a new middle-to-high end property). Waking up to look at the Spree and the East Side Gallery was ideal, and the shared facilities including the rooftop bar were great places to connect with friends and grab a drink or two. The service staff was also fantastic, and Sharon from overnights in particular was such a friendly, generous soul (e.g., she brought her own Polaroid camera to borrow to me when camera in the Teledisko next door wasn't working well) who made my stay an even happier one than it already was. All in all, I had an excellent experience at Hotel Indigo Berlin East Side Gallery and plan to stay here again next time I visit.

  Convenient Nice Hotel

  Well located hotel next to Uber Arena and some great bars and handy eating spots. Staff were super friendly and the room was well appointed and we liked the decor. Would definitely recommend.

  Rude receptionest made me checkout and leave the hotel

  Rude reception all the timeI booked them during my business trip and the lady reciptioned was very rude to the level of crossing all limits.   Very good hotel, convenient for Uber Arena and city

  Convenient for Uber Arena - about 100m!The hotel is very clean and has very quiet rooms. The Bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The hotel is situated in the east of Berlin opposite the Berlin wall which is called the east side gallery. Breakfast good and had a good choice to eat. Good transport to city (300 bus or Warshauer strasse station)To the airport take S9 s-bahn train, which is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. City bus tours stop 100m from front door. Nice location opposite river Spree which has barsThe square beside the hotel/uber arena has several restaurants. Easy to go to/from airport using S9 s-bahn train from the station below the terminal. Very clean airport and quite modern.BE AWARE the security checking system is not as efficient as you meet in “west European “ airports, so be prepared for long slow queues.   STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL !!

  STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL !!I had booked a stay for one night last Saturday, checked in at 19:30 hrs to have a good and comfortable rest before a very demanding working day on film production starting the next morning. On check in as usual i requested a silent room far away as possible from the elevators. At no time did the checkin personal mention to me that they will have an in house discotheque later that evening blasting down from their roof top terrace all floors of the hotel.Even on ground floor you could not only clearly hear the music but feel the vibration in the elevator. Confronted with the situation at around 23:00 hrs the staff had no problems admitting that i am not the first guest complaining, however they were unable to do anything about as the policy of the hotel seems to be very clear here. It's a party hotel and they care more about their discotheque then their guests getting a night sleep. At 23:30 hrs ich had myself checked out and asked for a full and immediate refund of the booking which had been promised by the staff at the reception. The payment has been made via Paypal. Guess what, 3 days later, still no refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL !!
