Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in an 8-storey building with a lift and 184 rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby.     Stayed at the hotel during the Berlin marathon and the hotel was extremely rude and unclean. Upon arrival they informed us there was no luggage stands in the whole hotel which meant all suitcases had to be on the floor. They also advised there was no additional water provided and would have to go without if it wasn’t in the room. The rooms remained uncleaned until several complaints were made and not sorted until the following day. The “free” mini bar was also not restocked. Upon checkout, the hotel informed us there was no bell boy and left us to wheel out our luggage ourselves after also advising they don’t feel capable of storing luggage after checkout before our flight. Terrible service and I do not recommend staying here.     I stayed at Hyperion during the Berlin marathon weekend. The hotel was extremely dirty and they refused to clean my room and bathroom, failed to remove dirty cups, and not refill the free mini bar each day !!! Several staff were RUDE, in particular, the luggage man with long hair and reception man (the person who had an internship in UK). I requested clean bedding and instead of changing the sheets, they left the clean sheets on top of my suitcase for me to put on myself!!! When I left my luggage at the hotel on the day of check out, they kept asking me what was in my bag. This hotel cannot be trusted! This hotel is not a 4.5 star hotel, more like a 2 star.     Currently staying in this hotel over Berlin Marathon weekend. Terrible! Here are the current list of problems:- no luggage stands- dirty cups left in room after cleaner apparently did the room- the ‘free’ mini bar not restocked- cleaner leaving new bedding on my luggage for me to put on myself - rude luggage manThis hotel rates itself as 4.5 - I cannot see on what basis this has been made.
