    comfortable and clean room, friendly staff and a central location. the wifi worked fine as well.Minus points are, that the room i was staying in was needing upgrades and maintenance in several places.

    When we arrived we were disappointed in amount of rubbish out the front of the hotel and surrounding streets, the room was very pockie needed a serious upgrade.

    This hotel does not meet the basic standards of a Formule 1, let alone that of an Ibis Styles (i.e. 3.5 *). The breakfast and the check in staff at the Ibis were good. However, everything else at this poorly run Ibis Styles Berlin Mitte was terrible. The front windows of the hotel were filthy and looked as if they had not been cleaned in over 6 months. Our room was worse. The carpet had numerous dirty stains. The shower and wash hand basin were located in the middle of the room. The shower was tiny, while the shower door did not open fully. The cover of the hair dryer cover came off in our hand revealing the bare electrical wires below. Not all of the lights in the rooms worked. This was pointed out to the hotel’s reception staff on our first morning in the hotel. The light remained broken during our stay. The curtains did not fully fit the windows and were dirty. The TV was not straight on the wall. Its electrics were dangerous. Room cleaning was nonexistent. I have stayed in numerous Ibis hotels in Europe. This hotel does not meet the Ibis not the Ibis Styles standard in any way. It is dirty, poorly run and badly maintained.This hotel badly needs a revamp. A dirty badly maintained room does not entice your guests/customers to return. Spend less on brochures depicting the out of date and dirty decor. Concentrate on a good clean well run and functioning product and not the shoddy, poor dirty one that you offer at present. The rooms at the Ibis Styles Berlin Mittte falls way below the standard which is expected of an Ibis Styles hotel. When we got home, we complained directly by email to the General Manager of this hotel. She quickly, acknowledged and responded to our complaint. She offered us a discount on our room rate, which we accepted and which was very much appreciated.

    breakfast was not included in the room rate like in other Ibis Styles hotel. This was a big minus, no bar, no restaurant.The room was very strange, no privacy- rather open bathroom.The bed was comfortable.The location is ok, lots of restaurants, pubs around and relatively close to Brandenburger Tor

    good location (close to subway, tram, bus) ; friendly and helpful staff ; great breakfast with many choices ; the single room was very efficiently furbished with a large bed ; since the room was towards the inneryard, it was very quiet (also from the hallway you did not hear any noise)
