    Good hotel in a nice location and many other benefits

    A good and clean hotel in a very nice location. The hotel is close to the city center and Berlin's sights. You can park under the hotel, and if you are a member of the hotel chain, you receive a voucher for free public transport for all days of your stay. That was pure gold. Within a few minutes, you can be in the center by bus (or otherwise) and enjoy everything the city has to offer.The hotel is good, the breakfast is adequate, and the staff is very friendly. In short, highly recommended if you are going to Berlin.

    Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of a week and then returned for a night as we needed to fly home. We arrived quite late and presume it was the night porter. We had done the online check in to save time however it didn’t save anytime at all. The man wouldn’t listen when I answered his questions only when my husband answered! We asked about the local travel ticket which you normally receive when staying at an Intercity hotel as part of paying the city tax, he said this was no longer the case due to been taken over. However we then got a phone call from him in our room to say he had spoken to someone else and they would honour it. So the following morning we reduced them. On our return we asked again about the ticket and were told we needed to become H members!Breakfast is average.Room was ok could do with cleaning under the beds as I dropped something and found a box of cereal under there. No hand soap it’s shampoo by the hand basin. Internet is very poor.Location is good though.

    This is a perfectly standard hotel with a very good location inside Ostbahnhof station. The rooms are clean and comfortable although they are just a bit old and dated. My main complaint is that the Wifi connection is really not very good. It's worth noting that there is no air conditioner in the rooms, however the hotel provides a standing fan.

    They locked me and 5 other tourists out of the hotel at 2am because the staff was "on a coffee break". That experience worried me a bit and there are unsafe-looking men outside of the building every night.

    Comfortable stay, ideal location for Uber Arena and S-Bahn lines!

    I had a really good stay of three nights at the IntercityHotel Berlin Ostbahnhof. Positives:- Ideal location for public transport - located in Ostbahnhof station, about 30 minutes direct from Berlin airport and with easy access to S-Bahn lines. Literally a two-minute indoor walk to the train platforms. - It's quiet - I didn't hear any trains coming or going from my room.- There are restaurants, cafes, and a pharmacy in the train station.- Friendly and helpful hotel staff.- My room was clean and comfortable.- Great shower!- Easy walk (10-15 minutes) from Uber Arena. Negatives:- As others have noted, the wifi is not great. If you're in a pinch, I got better wifi in the actual train station and at a cafe in the station. Honestly, I would stay there again for sure. It's reasonably priced and comfortable, and you can't beat it for accessing public transportation.
