  Great Location, But a Bit Inconsistent Overall

  This hotel is located in a very nice and attractive part of Berlin, which is definitely one of its biggest strengths. It’s a great base if you want to explore the city and be close to everything.The rooms were clean, which is always a plus, but they felt a bit dated and could definitely use some renovation in the coming years. We had three rooms, and interestingly, they were all designed quite differently. This made the overall standard of the hotel feel a bit inconsistent, as it was hard to tell what level the hotel is really aiming for.The breakfast was perfectly fine—nothing extraordinary, but it had what you need to start your day in a good way.If you’re expecting a luxury hotel, this probably isn’t the place for you. However, for shorter stays where location and cleanliness matter most, it’s a solid and reasonable option.   We cancelled another hotel close by because their prices was better. I was afraid that hotel would be too outdated because of carpet but everything was spotless and comfortable. Staff at front desk especially in the morning were very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. If you decide to add it at the time of check in it's 15 euro after that 20 euro. Coffee in the room was great also and they give you one big bottle of water every day. Location is very nice and safe. There are many good restaurants (affordable and fine dining) There are 3 stations close by. If you're coming from Berlin hbf or Airport with luggage S line Savignyplatz is easy 7 min walk. Zoologischer station is most convenient for sightseeing and easy 15 min walk. Station Uhlandstr is pretty much right in front of hotel. I think we were in older building but everything was great and we would stay there again.   This ticked all our boxes. Great location right on the Ku'damm. Easy access to the U-Bahn and busses, and a short walk to the S-bahn too. We had a room on the 4th floor looking into an internal courtyard. Our room was very quiet day and night, even though we were very close to the lifts. The bed was very comfortable, with a choice of pillows, and we could adjust the temperature. The bathroom included an over-bath shower, and a hairdryer. The room had a desk, TV, coffee machine and a fridge. Housekeeping was excellent. We had an issue with our door lock and Reception dealt with it promptly and professionally - no drama. The bright breakfast room overlooks the Ku'damm. There is a very wide range of hot and cold dishes, with vegan dishes too, and everything was frequently replenished. The hotel offers a bar and sauna (extra cost), but we didn't use either.   Troubleless and convenient accommodation on Ku'damm

  Exceptional breakfast, charging a person for the whole day. Excellent service and support (a problem with the leaking faucet, reported after our arrival, was eliminated in no time!) Extremely clean premises and the friendly English-speaking staff. The safe box in the room. High ceilings. We had a room with the balcony - and it was worth to have it, for it was providing us for extra space in the evenings. Comfortable matrasses and pillows. A small fridge and coffee machine. A table with enough space for doing paper work et al.Of course, the location is great, with good connections to the city via buses, the S-Bahn and (to some extent) the U-Bahn - albeit, on the whole, U1 appeared to be not very functional. Plentyy of choices of restaurants.However, we must point to some details to consider:- No AC in the room - may be a problem if the heatwave is getting longer- Small toilet room (still absolutely functional!)- A handful of hangers in the wardrobeStill, we are extremely pleased with our 10-day stay in the Hotel. If we decide to visit Berlin again, this Hotelwill be our primary choice again!   Lovely hotel in lovely area

  Lovely quiet hotel. This hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the Savignyplatz train station. It's also a few minutes more to walk to the Zoologischer Garten train station. Both these stations are on several lines, so there are constant trains into the city, which is about 3 stops.We had the most massive room, probably ready for families, but even if the bed setee was made up, there would still be loads of room! Room had a tv, fridge, and a little coffee machine. There was a free bottle of water left daily, which was a great touch.The bathroom was a good size, good pressure in the shower that had complimentary shower gel/ shampoo. There was also a hairdryer dryer in the bathroom.The bed was very comfortable.Free safe in the room, too.Our room was also one of only a few with a balcony. This had a carpeted floor with a small table and chairs. Great to relax with a drink. We booked bed and breakfast. Breakfast was OK, lots of heavy breads, cold meets, cheeses and yoghurts. Small selection of hot stuff. Plentiful coffees, tea, and juices.The hotel is in a lovely safe area with lots of restaurants around.If we are honest, we would have preferred to be nearer the city and will probably stay at one of the sister hotels if we visit the city again.Staff were very friendly and helpful.
