Location

The hotel is located between the International Congress Center (ICC), Berlin and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church on Kurfürstendamm. The building, near the pedestrian zone of Wilmersdorfer Straße, is characterised by its excellent central location just 100 m from the Deutsche Oper (opera house), near the attractive shopping centre on Wilmersdorfer Straße and 5 min (2 underground stations) from the Berlin trade fair grounds. There are local transport links within around 100 m of the hotel, as well as restaurants and bars o be found some 10 m away on Wilmersdorfer Straße. Other Berlin sights such as the Museum Island and Potsdamer Platz are around a 15-minute drive away, and the famous Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag parliament building are about 10 minutes away by car.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 274 non-smoking rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Our first visit to Berlin (from Ireland). Stayed from Friday to Monday - 3 nights.The Wilmersdorfer area is interesting in itself - and is very well connected to the wider public transport network.We really enjoyed the hotel - an excellent room, friendly and very helpful staff and a good breakfast.     Nice 3 star hotel with excellent staff an excellent breakfast. Excellent location near good eateries and grocery stores and well as drugstores.     Great but only if you plan on not sleepinging

    I got up twice to check if window was open - it was not. No need for windows it was so loud outside the room and guess what - it was not even busy outside. Cars, trucks, drunks....the worst night sleep of my life in any hotel. I've stayed in 100s. Quietened a little at 2.30am for a few hours but by 6am I woke to trucks/cars. Also construction close by started soon after so any chance of sleeping was gone. Just don't stay here, I never will again. Check in was easy and pleasant. Staff nice. It is dated but it's a 3 star so it's fine.     Excellent location close enough to places to eat and drink a train stations to get about, I certainly felt I was in downtown Berlin, which I love... Breakfast room busy but easy to negotiate food on offer very good... We didn't use the place in the evening, but I did have a drink in the bar whilst Kate did her lippy, both were very OK....     The overall experience was good! We stayed there for three nights! The staff was very friendly, the location was good (public transport right next to the corner)! The room was clean! It was good for the value of money! A suggestion is that the rooms should have more lights!
