    Quality option in a superb location

    The location is excellent - close to the lively Hackesher Markt, the streets full of interest around it, and the wonderful Museum island. Nonetheless, it is quiet and has some style. Public transport, either trams or S Bahn, are close by. Our room was spacious, quiet, well equipped and with a nice balcony. The “essentials” room is a great idea, breakfast was good quality and value, and we personally liked the independence created by the significant self management elements of staying at the hotel - which leans towards an apartment model. Overall, a great experience.

    Great appartement with a view on the Berlin TV tower. Room with a kitchen. Very clean and not a lot to complain. WIFI is not that good and had lots of hick-ups. We also missed some hangers to put ie. you coat on etc.

    Wonderful stay at Lux 11

    We had a wonderful few days at the Lux 11. It’s in a great for visiting the sites and has the charm and character of an older property with the decor and modern conveniences of any new Hotel on the block. Surrounded by Restaurants, boutiques and bars we found in walking distance of everything we needed. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. We would strongly recommend Lux 11.

    I travel to Berlin regularly on business but had to book last minute this time and my normal hotel was fully booked. I know the area where Lux is based well and figured I'd give it a try.Plus points:- Room very large with high ceilings- Area to work from- Nice lounge space- Shower great (although not accessible for anyone with limited mobility due to slippery steps up and down into it)Negative points:- Awful cheap foam pillows resulted in three nights of terrible sleep and shoulder pain. I asked reception for alternatives and was told they don't have any- Wifi unstable. When it worked the speed was so slow you couldn't use it for a video call. Ended up tethering to my phone.- Even though I turned the thermostat to 18, the underfloor heating stayed on.- Walls very thin, I could hear the TV from next door when trying to get to sleep each night
