  Really good hotel, tasty breakfast, clean rooms, cozy atmosphere, professional staff, good location everything is in a walking distance, beautiful buildings around the hotel. Thank for the good stay in Berlin

  Booked mainly for location as we were going to a concert at the Mercedes Benz Arena some 15 minutes' walk away. Incredible value for money and our 8th floor room had everything we needed - lovely hot shower, tea and coffee making facilities, comfy bed (or should I say beds, as we had two doubles), TV and more than enough space, plus a view over the river. It was amazingly quiet at night too as long as we kept the window closed. Breakfast was good value at 15 euros, as there was plenty of choice and as it was a buffet you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. Very handy too for the station, a mere 5 minutes' walk away.

  A clean basic hotel with comfortable rooms.Checking in was easy and quick.The room was all you need for a city break, clean and tidy, ours 149 had an outside light which illuminated the room all night, there was no way to keep it out. My wife ended up sleeping with a snood over her face!I stayed with another couple, we were disappointed that the bar was closed early each night especially the night we watched the world cup game.We were appalled on the Friday night to return to the hotel to find it looking like a field hospital, all of us have worked in the emergency services and thought that there had been a major incident occur.We found out it was a blood donor session. In a hotel really? And what further horrified us was they didn't appear to clean the breakfast area (which is where it had been set up) wasn't cleaned.I contacted Ibis before writing this report but they have ignored my concerns.

  Stayed in this hotel from 15-11-2022 till 18-11-2022 .The day upon arrival a warm welcome from a staff member behind the desk and he whas even able to speak some dutch!!! the guy explained everything verry well! and whas being verry guest friendly.I arrived at my room and I notice that the rooms are extremely clean! rooms are standard basic. The beds are fine and I had a verry nice sleep! no noisy sounds at night. The hotel has on every from a kind of balcony where you can smoke!. The only thing I missed whas a safe and a bin. Breakfast whas great. A varaity of food in the morning. As it is a budget hotel everything looks basic. The staff member who standing on front to check the guests weather they on the breakfast list or not whas a verry guest friendly good English speaking lady. The hotel whas warm so you don't have to be afraid getting cold. Nice small bar where you can get some easy snacks and drinks. Also don't forget to checkout their coffee️ machine! I have never drink such delicious coffee with my breakfast!. Now the gas prices are high at my house i had a  warm nice bath here everyday for over an hour. The please is an ideal place to travel. Its nearby all public transport you need and you can even walk to alexander platz!.Now a days with the high energy prices I had take the opportunity to take a shower for over an hour.I would definitely recommend this hotel! lots of respect to the staff members! and for their professionalism! I will definitely coming back here.

  I chose Ibis Ostbahnhof for my short stay in Berlin due to it's low prices and location near the points of interest in eastern part of the city. I've stayed in many Ibis hotels, and I'd say this was the most basic of them all. It did not really have any flaws, but it is really meant for "get in, sleep, get out"My notes:- Hotel can be easily reached from the airport: Trains stop in Ostbahnhof, that is only couple hundred of meters away. Station also provides basic needs, like grocery stores, cafes, fast food etc.- However there is no westbound train/metro connection nearby: Example I wanted to explore nightlife in Kreuzberg, so I chose to walk. You can catch a metro to that direction, but you'll have to first walk a little bit.- The room was very basic and reduced. I had a "boring view" to the inner yard.- Price was cheap when comparing nearby hotels at the same time in June. I also booked my room "last minute".- Hotel cleaners were strangely eager to come in multiple times every day. When I checked out, they like rushed in straight away.
