Location

The first music-hotel in Europe is located here in the heart of Berlin. The hotel is situated in the midst the trendy districts of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, with a variety of bars and clubs and the latest art and fashion scene nearby. The city centre of Berlin is around 3 km away, and links to the public transport are to be found around 8 minutes' walk from the hotel. The nearest bus terminal is some 1.5 km away. Alexanderplatz and the TV Tower are around 3 km away, the Friedrichstrasse is some 4 km away, the Reichstag is around 5 km away and the famous Kurfuerstendamm Boulevard is some 9 km away. Berlin's trade fair, the Messe ICC, is roughly 10 km from the hotel.

Facility

304 non-smoking rooms, including 45 junior suites and 258 double rooms, are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service. Complimentary newspapers are available. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers cycling/mountain biking. The hotel's location is particularly ideal for skiers. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    We loved this hotel - it's cool, quirky, clean, great rooms, comfy beds, excellent breakfast, really cool lounge area and outside terrace. We used the wellness centre a few times which was great - all included!! Free sweets in reception too. Great location on the river, not far from the East Side Gallery. Would deffo come back.     Nhow has once again delivered a great experience. The vibe is cool and stylish while there is a highly professional work environment behind it all, delivering a fantastic experience.The staff are attentive despite being very busy, especially in the bar. Cleaning staff are great and the rooms are always comfortable. Biggest gripe would be the chairs, there is never any style that I can ever get comfortable on for long despite their stylish look.     We stayed one weekend in the nhow Berlin for an event. We didn’t know that hotel before so we were very open for all expectations and surprises. We found a hotel in a very friend and open atmosphere. The rooms was clean and in a proper condition. The staff were friendly always. Doesn’t matter whether at breakfast, checkin, bar or the housekeeping.The selection of food during breakfast was amazing. We can’t wait to come back there.
