English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     Avoid this refugee hotel

    Booked this hotel as the location was perfect for the Berlin half marathon. On entering my room I thought I could smell faint cigarette smoke. Didn't sleep well the first night. Second afternoon discovered it was a refugee hotel, that also offered rooms to general public.Second night I opened windows for fresh air only to be woken by the smell of cannabis smoke. The refugees are noisy. If I'd had earplugs that wouldn't be a problem, but the smoke/cannabis smell affected my asthma.This hotel on the inside also doesn't look like the photos on the internet.The only good thing is the breakfast is good.I would recommend you AVOID it though. The owners should either not take in refugees or not take in public guests as it doesn't work well as a mixture.

    I can never imagine such a bad, dirty and terrible Hotel can be existed in Berlin today. The pictures are fakes. Rooms are quite different from the picture shows. Carpet is old and dirty. Chair and table are broken. The fan in the bathroom works continuously with an extremely loud noise and cannot be switched off. The staff on the reception changed me another room. However, heating in this room doesn’t work. It is very cold in Berlin on March. When it went to 11pm, the fan in the bathroom started running without any manual operating. The noise was even louder than the first room. I told the reception that. Two men sat there with TikTok on their phones and told me to come tomorrow cos they could do nothing. They insisted that they are just security, with a very rude and impolite attitude. As I had to checkout in the early morning, everything seemed meaningless. I would like to notice everyone who wants to book this hotel that do not trust the pictures the provided.

    This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. I'd give it no stars if it were possible. We didn't feel safe. The area is full of dodgy characters. My advice is avoid at all costs

    I stayed in hotel Aldea with my two daughters and two grandchildren. There was a mixture of good and bad reviews online so we didn't know what to expect. We arrived on Tuesday 25th November and checked in. We had 2 bedrooms with 5 single beds and a cot. The rooms and beds were spotless. Bathroom also spotless and towels were changed every day. There was an issue with heating and hot water on our last night and we were given our last two days breakfast free. We were really happy with this. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. There was no kettle in the room but the staff gave us a flask of hot water, cups, sugar and teabags. They refilled the flask whenever we asked. The breakfast is very good also. Plenty of food and a spacious dining area. We stayed for 4 days and had no complaints. The hotel is situated right across from a train station which is very handy for getting around Berlin. All in all we had a great stay at this hotel and couldn't fault it.

    I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is very close to the train station, just a 2 minute walk. There are so many restaurants in the near vicinity, with plenty of options. The room was clean, warm and big. Toiletries were in place in the bathroom. The staff was very polite and breakfast was very good.Overall great value for money. Highly recommended.
