Location

This hotel lies by the River Spree, near the Berlin Dom in the district of Mitte. The museum island, Berlin town hall, Alexanderplatz and the Unter den Linden boulevard are only minutes from the hotel. The nearest city train station, Hackescher Markt, is only 100 metres away and the Sea Life centre is right next to the hotel.

Facility

427 rooms, including 21 junior suites and 405 double rooms, are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by 6 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers horse riding.     Well, located for those looking for a location near Museum Island . View from the balcony of the Spree was glorious, and the walk along the spree advised. The check-in check out and the staff at the front desk and Concierge were helpful. They have a spectacular bar with a living tree filled with tropical plants. We saw someone repelling down from the ceiling to water them. It is quite a display seen from the elevators and the bar below.We ate one meal there it was not spectacular, and the service is inconsistent and very slow. They were out of half the wines that they claimed to have. In fact, most of the menus were missing the red wire page entirely.The room was lovely. The cleaning of the room was inconsistent. Some days there were not on the floor. There was no direction given for the cleaning services. For reasons that are difficult to explain they were parsimonious with the toilet paper and difficult to reach. The price was good when prepaid. We would recommend as a good central location for those not looking for a lively area.

    A hotel that fluctuates in stars so rapidly it will make your head spin. Exceptional? In inconsistency absolutely.We were on our honeymoon here and they completely ruined our trip.Where to start?The check-in was conducted by a very uninterested and rude person. The first room had flaws so a room change was offered on the next day.When staying at a five star property, one expects a luxurious, uncomplicated and welcoming experience. Non of this was the case. Breakfast is not what we expected from a five star hotel. The staff is wonderful but the selection of food is rather limited. Coffee is brought to the table but comes from a machine. In the atrium bar they messed up our order twice and we had a bill that wasn’t correct. Check it when you leave. The pool is very small and the floors in the spa area are slippery. They don’t have proper airconditioning but ventilation that cools minimal, not what one would expect in a property like this. Opening the windows at night is no option, there is a lot of street noise. Be aware of that.Housekeeping is a joke. In the hall on the fourth floor there is a dirty tissue. It has been laying there for days now. I’m sure it’s still there. Our room was poorly cleaned and we had to request cleaning over and over again. When they changed the sheets the forgot the pillowcase… Finally it was followed up. Be aware; dealing with these complaints will cost you a lot of time as the reception is very busy.The management of the hotel took our complaints seriously and acknowledged the problems. That didn’t prevent us from having our honeymoon ruined. When you are looking for a stress less, worrying free, comfortable and luxurious stay, stay somewhere else.     Great location, the room was too hot, I payed for a room with A/C. The bathroom floor was stained.The food was very good and good service in the buffet breakfast.

    It is a fantastic hotel located right in the middle, by the river Spree.Great facilities (pool/SPA, parking, bar, breakfast). Stayed there a handfull of times now and everytime their water Hatem does the most outstanding service I have ever experienced (80-100 hotel stays a year the last 15 years!). I almost never do reviews. But this time I really need to recognize this particular fantastic person/employee!!!
