Location

The hotel is located near the Brandenburg lake Templiner See. The centre of Potsdam with its many restaurants, bars, clubs and shopping options is just a 10-minute drive away. Guests can visit the beautiful Sanssouci palace (5 km) and Cecilienhof palace (6 km) or find out more about German cinema at Babelsberg (7 km).

Facility

15 junior suites, 10 suites, 123 single rooms and 92 double rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive.     The worst hotel experience ever in Germany! Stay away from this hotel. Extremely disappointing experience. I booked a room for three people, but when I arrived, there was only one bed — absolutely not suitable for three guests. This is clear false advertising. There were no hotel staff at the reception, only a security guard who didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t contact any manager or get any assistance. Even though I canceled the booking within 30 minutes, the hotel charged the full amount and refused to issue a refund. The hotel manager was very arrogant and rude — I have never experienced anything like this before. Honestly, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in Germany. I strongly believe this property should not be listed on Booking.com until they correct their misleading descriptions and improve their customer service.

    Rooms and location are nice, but the service is really awful. If friendly staff is important to you - do not go there. At breakfast, there isn't enough wiaters to clean up the tables. Another example during our stay - we tried to order 2 beers in the hotel bar. It was not very full. The waiter ignored us in the first instance, Just passing by our table. We wondered if there was self service. After checking with him, it turned out to be service as useual. After a second and third ignorance (really!), we were upset and informed him about that in a friendly manner. Then (No joke !) he was pissed and said we won't get any beer. After talking to the hotel staff it turned out that the waiter actually was the restaurant leader Mr. Schumann Team SeeHotel, Guest Services / Front Office at Seminaris SeeHotel Potsdam, responded to this review Dear M F,We're truly sorry to hear about your less than satisfactory experience at our hotel.     Very nice place. Happy that we could bring our dog with us. The location is stunning 😍 a lake close to the hotel. Nice place to go for a walk with our dog. Parking was free. The room was big, and the bed was comfy. We will use this place again. So we can bring our dog on holiday.     A good hotel for a group

    We arrived somewhat late but got the rooms quickly. A buffet dinner was prepared and it was nice but some of the serving dishes were empty and the staff didn’t seem to think that it was necessary to refill them. Eg: almost no icecreme for us. Little bit annoying it was. Same goes for breakfast when I got a VERY irritated answer when I asked for more yoghurt. (I had waited a couple of minutes before asking). But the rooms were nice and the bed rather comfortable.     Poor service all over

    This hotel gave us, a group of friends extremely poor service. Most of the receptionists answered in a rude tone or completely ignored us. The waitor at the resturant showed great irritation when we wanted to pay by card and not cash. At the breakfast table we were told to leave right after it closed even though several other people were seated enjoyed their breakfast. We didnt feel welcome at the hotel in general and will not be visiting again.
