Location

The hotel is located opposite the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz. The Brandenburg Gate is about 500 m from the hotel, and Potsdamer Platz Station is just 100 m away. Guests will find bars and clubs within a few minutes' walk. The Tiergarten park is around 5 minutes' walk from the property, and the River Spree is some 10 minutes' walk away. Shopping can be found just some 2 minutes' from the hotel. Attractions in the area include the Reichstag, around 30 minutes' walk away, Checkpoint Charlie, some 20 minutes' walk from the hotel, and the Philharmonic Hall and New National Gallery, both of which are approximately 10 minutes' walk away.

Facility

157 non-smoking rooms are located on 11 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service (for a fee). Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop and tea/coffee station. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests will also find slippers in their rooms. The bathrooms have a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and yoga. Various wellness options are available at the apartment hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, massage treatments and a solarium. The hotel offers plenty of activities and entertainment options, including an entertainment programme, a dance club and a casino.

Meals

The dining area includes a non-smoking restaurant and a bar. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.     I’m so happy we chose to stay at the Mandala Hotel. it was super close to the train station, but also convenient (walkable) to a lot of the must see attractions in Berlin. The hotel breakfast was a splurge, but worth every penny. Our room was clean and comfortable. The front desk helped us book a river cruise. We found the staff at The Mandala to be friendly and helpful. An amazing time in Berlin with the perfect accommodations!

    We got a very warm welcome, the room was excellent, the staff extremely friendly. Our special wishes as p.e. extra coffee cream in the room were fulfilled quickly and uncomplicate. The Barkeeper was perfect in his Job and helped us with our drinks choice. Certainly we will stay in the Mandala again, when we once return to Berlin.     The location is fantastic and incredibly convenient for getting around. It is just a 2-minute walk to both the bus and train stations, and only 5 minutes away from a great plaza filled with food courts and dessert options.     We were visiting for the Berlin Half marathon, the hotel offered everything we needed and more!Welcoming and helpful staff, a real food experience, comfortable room, and easy walk to the start and finish of the race. Plus the run actually went past the hotel, so a great location for my husband to see me. The only slight difficulty we found was working the shower, but it was very useful to have a bath as well.
