Location

The hotel was formerly the 1930s post office Postpalais, and is conveniently situated in the heart of Berlin. The city’s main train station is within a 10-minute walk and Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport is just 20 km away. Nearby are numerous points of interest, including Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate.

Facility

The hotel has 256 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by 3 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand.     Excellent hotel. Very welcoming, spotless, great location. Brilliant fast Check-in with lovely people .Spacious room with everything you need. Lovely bar with great selection and service.     Stayed here for four nights. Location was good for the main sites and near Anhaulter station with u and s bahn links. Room was excellent and cleaned to a high standard.     The hotel was clean, comfortable and staff very friendly. Most suitable for us as we had booked a concert at Tempodrom which was immediately opposite. The food was very good but could have been a bit more varied. 5 minutes walk to 2 stations in different directions.     This hotel was very comfortable and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. For being in a major city, it was incredibly quiet! It felt like you were in the country! We didn't eat in the restaurant (There are so many options in Berlin!) so can't comment on food or service. The best part of staying here was the extraordinarily convenient location. You are a short walk to two major metro stations that connect to most of the train lines in the city.     Spotless inside, really modern and nicely decorated. Helpful staff and a nice hotel bar. My only criticism would be the bed is slightly hard but this didn’t bother me as such just one thing I would add.
