Location

This deluxe hotel is located in the eastern part of the German capital near the historical Alexanderplatz square, one of Germany's most monumental city squares. The hotel is quickly and easily reached, with metropolitan railway, tram and bus stops nearby. All of Berlin's sights and places of interest are less than 30 minutes away. The direct commuter rail connection to the Messe Berlin fairgrounds makes a visit to an exhibition or trade show a comfortable experience without having to look for a place to park or deal with the city traffic. Tegel Airport is approximately 16 km from the hotel and Schoenefeld Airport is about 25 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 557 rooms, including single rooms, which are located on 10 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     A beautiful 4 star Hotel.Our room was large, clean and modern with a very large bed. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast was also very good with a large selection of hot and cold.This Hotel is highly recommended for a stay in Berlin.

    Fantastic location as others have mentioned, with both Tram and Train stations (and taxis) right on the doorstep. Reception staff friendly and welcoming.However, the rooms let the place down. We had to be moved from the first room as it genuinely stank of sewage and the fridge didn't work. And despite a previous reviewer mentioning the lack of CNN (or any English speaking news channel) and management acknowledging this months ago, there were still no english speaking channels available. If you're a light sleeper and you're on the street side, you may need ear plugs as the glazing isn't particularly good and as previously mentioned, has a tram line/station next to it, which can be noisy.Shower temperature variable - unfortunately, during the shower itself. One minute boiling, next minute freezing.Sky Bar a lovely extra though - however, it gets very busy with both residents and locals, so would try and reserve a table in advance where possible, especially if in a bigger group.     This hotel is massive. It's connected to a conference center or public transportation. Several restaurants, lots of nice seating areas and nice suze rooms. Very busy area.     Best hotel in Berlin!

    We were worried that this hotel was going to be similar to a budget chain like Travelodge. This couldn’t have been further from the case. This was one of the best places we have stayed at. The hotel is really classy inside and is absolutely massive. There are several restaurants, including a panoramic sky bar and cozy cocktail bar. There is a spa and wellness centre. The staff were really accommodating and helped us with anything we needed. They even offered us our choice of room and asked if we wanted anything particular. We asked for a bath and this was provided. All of the staff spoke really good English. We had breakfast included in our booking. The breakfast was really nice and there was a huge selection. This included hot food, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, cereal, bread and loads of other things. You could have something different every day and still not have tried it all.The hotel is located on the outskirts of central Berlin but is literally on top of a tram stop and train station. You could easily get to anywhere within Berlin with one change at most. Great location! Overall this hotel really was one of the best we have stayed in (And we have had a few). It met and beat our expectations is many ways. I would happily stay there again.

    Brilliant staff very helpful. Great location as transport into the city centre right outside. Clean rooms and spacious. Comfy bed. Facilities brilliant and food lovely.
