    Hidden Gem in Berlin

    Centrally located between the Osloer St Station or Pank St station is a Hidden Gem for a short stay in Berlin without the high city prices. We stayed at this venue for three nights and received a friendly, helpful experience from beginning to end. We had a few queries before reaching the hotel which were dealt with quickly and professionally. Large rooms always immaculacy clean and nicely heated as we did hit some negative temperatures during our stay. We did not book breakfast as part of our stay but were able to purchase each morning for 18 Euro. Breakfast was vast with plenty of choice. There is also the opportunity to purchase Pizza in the evening at the bar. My only negative about this trip was the quality of the pillows was not great

    Staying at Wyndham Garden Mitte Berlin was a really pleasant experience. After a long day in the city, it felt great to come back to a clean, quiet, and comfortable room. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the location made getting around Berlin very easy. I would gladly stay here again.

    Charged as No-Show Despite Phone Cancellation

    I booked a room shortly before 18:00 and cancelled it by calling the hotel at around 18:15 — about 30 minutes later. Despite informing the hotel by phone, I was charged the full price (around 90 EUR) under their “no-show” policy.This was not a no-show, as I actively cancelled and did not simply fail to appear. I find this handling unfair and disproportionate. Be aware of this policy before booking, especially for same-day reservations.

    Shady business practices - beware of this hotel!

    My husband took a group of students to a conference in Berlin. They stayed at this hotel since it was near the conference venue. I reserved multiple rooms for their stay. When they returned, I began receiving statements from the hotel requesting payment for a room. All of the rooms were completely paid for at the time of check-out. I have sent emails with documentation proving that all of the rooms were paid for. None of my emails have been responded to by the hotel. I just received another statement now threatening me with legal action if I do not pay the hotel bill. Beware of this hotel and its business practices!

    The hotel is like going back to the 80’s. The room is big with high ceilings and could be good but the whole place needs some serious money spent which given its moody location is not going to happen.The room has no air con, no soundproofing, no smoke alarm and no tea it coffee facilities. It’s too warm, you can’t open the windows because of the noise and you can hear next doors snoring all night.The shower is just a rinse down effort and the shower curtain means it’s almost impossible to have a shower with water going everywhere. One thing that is 4 star is the €18 breakfast charge which is twice what it should be given the offering. I had limited choice in booking because of Euro 24 but I would never book here again
