The staff at the reception especially Emily have been very kind and helpful, so thank you so much 💓 But the house keeping team have proven to be useless and unkind. My room wasn't cleaned 😕 I stayed at the hotel because my brother was admitted in hospital. The Heart and diabetic hospital. HDZ. I stayed from 30th January to 3rd February 2026Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, insbesondere Emily, waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vielen Dank dafür! 💓 Das Reinigungsteam hingegen war leider nutzlos und unfreundlich.

Hotel takes money for no service

I made a wrong booking and the hotel staff/responsible did not at all support solving the problem. In turn they took money that had no service/consumption behind leaving me as a customer alone with the booking problem however the took my money.

Lots of potential to take ratings to a higher level

I stayed for 2 separate weeks in June/July @ Vienna House in Bad Oeynhausen.The hotel is modern and located on really nice grounds next to a huge beautiful park and within minutes walk of the central walking district.The lobby has a nice open vibe with interesting décor.There is a well stocked children's corner.Rooms in front face the outdoor walkway and distant hills. Rooms in the back face the park I was in both room types and both were really quiet, however, the curtains don't do a great job of black-out, so when sleeping on the front side, the light from street lamps filters in. Backside is BLACK (park).The rooms are quite large.What I liked+ Large TV with inputs for streaming devices or laptop connection+ Solid internet with easy sign in+ Very clean+ Super quiet+ Breakfast very good+ Parking easy+ Bed ComfortAirCon was OK, but seemed inefficient on the warmest daysTo improve- No kettle in room- No safe- No USB outlets- No iron or ironing board- Only amenities in bathroom is a soap dispenser, but there is a hair dryer- No Gym- Elevator slow and it's programmed to always stop at the lobby even if you want to go directly form an upper floor to the garage The pillows are the European type that look huge, but are super soft, so your head sinks down to the bottomMyself and all my colleagues staying there all agreed that staff engagement and lack of friendliness was the biggest weird thing we all noticed. This was especially noted with breakfast staff. I would say good morning (in German) every day and most days, the response would be head down and something mumbled in a sullen way. Some front desk staff were a bit more engaging, but not all.Since my first visit, the hotel now has min fridge that can be borrowed.

This is a great hotel - relaxed and modern.The rooms are large and comfortable, immaculately clean, and perfect for a business trip.Like many hotels though, they like moody lighting and seem to think that hiding the light switches is a fun game. There was one light that I never found the switch for!The underground garage is comfortably large enough, wifi is good and fast, and breakfast is perfectly fine - serves the purpose.The lifts could move a bit faster. You press the 'call' button, and it takes a really long time for the magic lift pixies to wake up, think about what to do, and start the lift moving. Then it gets to your floor and still takes another half-hour or so before they open the doors for you.Despite the lifts, this is my favourite hotel in this area.

This was our tenth visit and by far the worst. Advertisement doesn’t met with reality. We booked a room with a sleeping couch but the do not have them. The staff wasn’t able to give us at least a third blanket and pillow for our son.The second day the cleaning staff forgot to give us towels and the staff could not find towels. A friendly other guest gave us their extra towel. Cleaning wasn’t in depth, table and side table had lost of dust! On the fensterbench were old cigarettes .
