  Unreliable hotel, very bad customer service

  We was supposed to stay at B&B hotel Bremen city for 1 night from 26-27. July 2026, we knew we would arrive after opening hours and called the hotel to double check that we could get in. We received and access code and room number on mail and did online check in. On arrival we couldn’t enter the parking garage as the access code didn’t work. My husband dropped me off to find parking and I tried to enter the hotel. At the entrance there was a screen to check in and you could also enter your code by the door to get to the lobby. Our code didn’t work. We tried to check in again on the screen and it said there was no reservation found. There was an emergency number by the door and I tried to call it twice with no answer. We couldn’t get it. From leaving England early morning, we had to continue our drive back to Denmark with to kids as we had no where to stay. It was a disaster. I sent an email and got an answer next day that they hope we got in. We didn’t. I asked for a refund. They refused as they could see we had checked in (yes, online check in but couldn’t access the hotel with the given code)! Then after some days we received an automatic email that they hoped we enjoyed our stay and would like us to leave a google review. We did. Later we finally got an email from the hotel that they would refund the money and they asked for our bank details. We sent the details and waited for the refund. No money received. I emailed them and asked when to expect the refund. No reply. I sent another email, and then they replied saying that we couldn’t get a refund and that they never said we could, they said that they didn’t get any calls from us on their emergency number. Luckily I still had my list of outgoing calls to prove it. Now they won’t refund anything even though they have said they will, they claim that we haven’t tried to call them and because we did online check in they won’t be able to refund anything as we already checked in even though we never got to enter the hotel with the acces code. I have sent them screenshots of their own email where they ask for bank details for a refund and I also sent them screenshots of my outgoing calls to their emergency number! I am currently waiting for their reply. I work in the travel industry and has stayed at many hotels but I have never met so bad costumer service. Just the fact that they now say they haven’t received phone calls from us and haven’t promised a refund, shows me how unreliable this hotel is. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

  The staff go above and beyond. staff were better than some 4/5 star hotels! The room was clean and had everything myself and my daughter needed. I would say it’s very similar to a premier inn. The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes to the train station, 10/15 minutes from the city centre and 10 minute uber ride to the botanika gardens. Overall wonderful staff, great location and clean.

  Avoid B&B Hotel Bremen City & Hotels.com. Worst travel experience ever

  We booked one night at B&B Hotel Bremen-City 27–28 July 2025 as the final stop on a birthday trip for our 12 year old son. Instead of ending with a nice shopping day in Bremen, the hotel turned the evening into a disaster. Upon arrival, we entered through the dirty and very small parking garage and took the elevator to reception. There were no staff present, no visible emergency contact numbers, and no check-in instructions anywhere. We had never received any emergency number or special instructions in our booking confirmation or from the hotel beforehand.We tried every possible code we could think of at the self check in, but nothing worked. With no way to contact anyone, we were forced to leave without using the room and drive all the way from Assen (Netherlands) back home to Holstebro (Denmark) in the middle of the night, a dangerous and exhausting trip.B&B Hotels refused a refund, claiming an emergency number exists but if you never provide it and it’s nowhere to be found on site, that’s useless. Hotels.com, where we booked, also refused any compensation, showing a complete lack of responsibility for a ruined trip.We were left with wasted money, no sleep, and a ruined birthday. This is unacceptable service from both B&B Hotels and Hotels.com. Avoid them if you value reliability, basic communication, and customer support.

  B&B HOTEL Bremen-City Is worth the money, the staff are friendly and helpful and nice and clean everywhere in the hotel and not the first and last time I spend the night at one of the B&B Hotels, finally continue with your good services and quality of your hotels.

  Cozy stay at Bremen

  We stayed one night in this hotel with my wife. The bed was very comfy. Room and bathroom was very clean. We had a bunkbed addition in our room. This is very nice for people with kids. The parking was free underground. A pet friendy cozy hotel with warm lobby. We will use B&B for future stays.P.S. The receptionist were very warm and welcoming.
