Great location, good hotel and reasonable price
16 Aug 2026
We chose this hotel because we were going to a concert. We have often slept in a B&B hotel so the concept is familiar. Friendly and welcoming received on arrival. We were an hour early but were already allowed to use the room. The hotel has a parking garage with EV charger for a fee. Parking is free around the hotel and availability will depend on the time of day. Room was clean and tidy, good sleep and the bathroom/shower was fine. The next morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet (juices, different types of coffees, egg, yogurt, various cold cuts, sandwiches etc.) which were always replenished. The breakfast room is limited so depending on the time it can be busy. The tram stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to the centre in a few minutes. But you can also walk in about 25 minutes. Originally submitted in Dutch on www.tripadvisor.nl. View originals.

Lieblos

The single bed was too narrow even for me as a slim woman, so I fell out of bed or pushed myself against the wall, sometimes literally. While walking around you could feel crumbs etc. on the floor and there were glass edges on the table, so you ponder the general hygiene standard. The entrance to the underground car park had a malfunction, to which rather confusing behavioral recommendations were made and the entire check-in process took a very long time for some people (only one service person). DANGEROUS WINDOWS
26 Jul 2023
Dangerous for children!! Windows unsafe!! The reason for 1 star review is that it was possible to open the window fully onto the street below. The room was on the first floor. There was no railing or balcony, just a sheer drop. Having a child with autism, this was incredibly dangerous! We tried to alert staff but couldn't find anyone available between 7.30am and 8.45am whenever we checked. The car park instructions were clear to get in (check in required first for instructions), however getting out again was unclear. Having seen me wandering around looking confused and trying to press the code in the access machine outside, a member of the public in the street told me to pull a red string hanging from the ceiling in the garage to open the door. Would have been helpful to know this beforehand. The hotel was otherwise clean and comfortable but our stay was overshadowed by serious safety concern.

New, modern , comfortable

The hotel feels brand new and modern, everything super neat , crisp and clean. Rooms are compact but very comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nicely done breakfast buffet with excellent coffee/espresso drinks is a very good value. Great choice for families or couples who want a modern place. Not the right choice if you want an for old traditional German setting - but just a quick cheap tram ride to the historic center and the main train station, and equally quick tram to waterfront mall for shopping.
