  The hotel is alright, but bad at the price. The housekeeping staff is rude and intrusive. After I left, the hotel accused me of destroying two pillows, and charged my card 125EUR. Bad overall experience, and I will never come back! Our guests can use our swimming pool area as well as the sun room and relaxation rooms from 7:30 a.m.All of our employees give their best every day which is noticed and rewarded by the vast majority of our guests. We are passionate hosts and the friendliness of our employees in particular is always praised. A respectful tone should prevail in both directions. Regarding the pillow, we are also irritated by your statement that you “spilled some red wine on it.” The pillows were heavily soiled with red wine right down to the core. It should be self-evident that you, as the person who caused the damage, are responsible for it. We don't want to expect any of our guests to find such a pillow on the bed. We won´t share the photos of the red wine stains here.It is our daily endeavor to ensure that guests have a wonderful time in our hotel. We maintain a harmonious relationship between guests and employees. Wouldn't it have been a conceivable option to contact us on site, discuss your "mishap" and not leave the hotel secretly?Kind regradsyour family Pauls

  We went as a couple, and it was a very nice hotel. Lovely spa, very good service and it was vegan friendly too.It is situated right next to a lovely park and you can rent bikes and bike to the city center.   Horrible experience. The hotel advertises itself as a 4 stars air-conditioned hotel. Based on this, I booked a room for my mother.She got room 211. It's a room with no air conditioner, the main light didn't work, the TV was broken, the wardrobe's door needed fixing. Should I say more? When I wrote to them to complain on putting my mother in such a room, in the middle of a heatwave, I got one of the most arrogant answers - that they advise me to next time call in advance and make sure the room is really air-conditioned before arrival. They advertise they are air conditioned! Also, she was required to pay a cleaning fee in addition to the amount she was supposed to pay. The facility and the service are not 4 stars, I would hardly give them 2. NOT RECOMMENDED.   Overall, a very nice stay, with some caveats. The breakfast was really good, the bed comfortable, and the location convenient to my meetings at the University (it was nice to be across from the park as well). A few things that could have been better.1. I was put in a room without AC (which I did not know was possible). There was a thermostat in the room, but I was told it is not attached to anything. It was hot during my 6 night stay (highs of 30C/ 86F, each day). I had to request (and insist) on being moved to a room with AC. They first said they were sold out, but when I persisted they found me a room with AC. I would have left had that not been arranged. Make sure you insist on a room with AC before you reserve/check in.2. The mini-fridges in the rooms are not all functioning. I had to request that mine be turned on, which necessitated yet another room change.3. The WIFI hardly worked at all on the top floor, where my final room was situated. It was easy enough to connect, but then would disconnect every 2 minutes or so. This made doing zoom calls impossible and working online a feat of extreme patience and coping with frustration. Apparently, you can two of the 3: WIFI, fridge, or AC. I sure wanted all 3, but only got two.Oh, and oddly enough, you have to ask the reception desk staff to let you in the modest fitness room, as it remains locked and guests do not have a key. They were nice enough to let me in each time, but it seems like a strange practice. All in all, the staff were really nice and accommodating, within the restraints of the available resources as described above. We also didn't specify in your group booking that your room will have air conditioning. We provided you another room with air conditioning as quickly as possible, which unfortunately was not possible immediately because we were fully booked. When making your next booking, please indicate that you would like a room with air conditioning so that we can accommodate this. We would also like to apologize that the minibar refrigerator was not switched on as you requested. In order to protect the environment and resources, we switch off the minibar refrigerators in the rooms. If the refrigerator is needed by our guests, it can of course be switched on and used. During the pandemic we had to make sure that no more people than permitted are in the fitness room at the same time, so we had to introduce that guests had to register at reception if they wanted to use the fitness room.   Very pleasant hotel on the outskirts of Bremen

  We stayed here twice in April on a long drive from Sweden to UK and back. We arrived late both times and the staff were very quick to assure us that this would be no problem. They answer emails very quickly! Checkin staff very helpful and friendly. We had the family room which was in fact 2 adjoining rooms. It was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good, with really friendly staff. Parking is available right outside the hotel - it cost us 8 Euros a day. All in all a very enjoyable stay for a very tired family! Thank you.
