    Decent hotel

    rating12 Aug 2025

Nice hotel. Bit of confusion over rooms - I had booked on Booking.com specific rooms for our party and on arrival found that we had been allocated cheaper rooms (I had already paid for the rooms I expected to have) but after pointing out that this wasn't acceptable, we were upgraded beyond our original rooms.Nice cocktails in the bar. Good sized & clean.Reasonable walk to old town (about 25 minutes) but didn't feel safe doing it at night. Right next to arena so I imagine it caters for that well Maritim Hotel Bremen, Owner at Maritim Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed our hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the cocktails in our bar.At the same time, we regret the initial confusion regarding room allocation. We are all the more pleased that we were able to resolve the situation to your satisfaction on site and offer you a suitable upgrade. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We are delighted that you found our location in the immediate vicinity of the arena to be convenient. We look forward to welcoming you back on a future stay.Kind regards,Your team at Maritim Bremen

    Ok room, ok location

    rating06 Jun 2025

Hotel was located close to central station and a good walk to old town. There is a huge park next to it where I had a nice morning run.No coffee machine in the room, and the fridge was not working 100%.The pool was quite small but the sauna was good. Ok experience. Maritim Hotel Bremen, Other at Maritim Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear Michael,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback about your stay with us.We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed our central location near the main train station and the beautiful park next door – especially that you had a pleasant morning run.Regarding the coffee machine, please note that coffee and tea-making facilities are available exclusively in our Superior Rooms and Suites. We would be happy to assist you with selecting the right room category for your preferences during your next visit. We're sorry to hear that the fridge in your room was not working properly. Please be assured that we will inform our technical team immediately to ensure this is resolved. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in the future.Best regards,Your team at the Maritim Hotel Bremen

A very nice place to stay

    rating30 Sept 2024

Hotel spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room large and comfortable complete with fridge and room safe. The shower was easy to operate- digital controls with wand head and rain options. Breakfast buffet is amazing!! Lots of food options to choose from. Walking distance to train station (less than 10 minutes) and to downtown. Highly recommend Maritim Hotel Bremen, Other at Maritim Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear Paula,Thank you for the great review you gave us and our hotel. Did you know that our rooms have only recently been renovated? For sustainability reasons, we have decided to renovate the existing resources and thus do something good for the environment. To create a cosy atmosphere in the room, we used bright colours and lots of lights. We also think that the result is really impressive. We are already looking forward to your next visit. With kind regardsYour Maritim Hotel Bremen

    Good hotel, could go back

    rating23 Aug 2024

Nice hotel but the rooms are a bit outdated. The shower was fancy and one of the better we have experienced when traveling. A bit expensive breakfast, but it was good food. The car did not fit the garage, but a parkinglot right next to the hotel. Short walking distance to the old town. Nice park on the other side of the road where we took a morning walk. The bar served very good drinks, and the staff was very serviceminded. Maritim Hotel Bremen, Other at Maritim Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear Hannes,Thank you very much for this great review. Our rooms have indeed already been renovated. For reasons of sustainability, we have refurbished the existing furniture in a resource-saving way. With bright colours, new wallpaper, carpets and curtains and, above all, lots of light, the rooms now look much friendlier and cosier. The fact that the Bürgerpark is right on our doorstep plays into our hands: in the evening or in the morning, it is a favourite place for walks or bike rides. There is also a petting zoo, which is a particular highlight for many children. We look forward to welcoming you back to our house soon. With kind regardsYour Maritim Hotel Bremen

    Great for families

    rating11 Jul 2024

Look of hotel a little dated but rooms are comfortable and clean. Pool area was great! But probably not the hotel for you if you don't like kids as lots of them and pool area can get busy. Great location close to city centre and fab breakfast! My 10yo loved it! Maritim Hotel Bremen, Other at Maritim Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for this great review! Our rooms are currently still being renovated. Four out of five floors are already ready for occupancy - and the result is really impressive. The charming lobby contrasts with the modern, renovated rooms. We are delighted that your son enjoyed his time in the pool. Please come and visit us again soon, we would be delighted. With kind regardsYour Maritim Hotel Bremen
