OK when there is special offers

Got a Fair price for a deluxe room with great double bed.Very basic gym (max 10kg dumb-bells), nearby public parking, and reception check-in needs improvement Alexander Skibbe, General Manager at Steigenberger Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm glad the deluxe room and its comfortable double bed offered good value.I've taken your comments about the gym equipment and the check-in process on board and will raise both with the relevant teams so we can improve. Thanks too for mentioning the nearby public parking — that's helpful for future guests.I hope to welcome you back to Bremen soon for an even better stay.Best regards,Alexander SkibbeGeneral Manager

A very modern, comfortable hotal. But it forgets that people want to use the spa.

Overall, a great impressions of this hote since we travelled 3 hrs fro The Netherlands to check-out Bremen. Positives; Very clean and well organised hotel. Restaurant/breakfast room overlooking the river Weser (Main river to the sea at Bremen Harbour). Staff very friendly and helpful. The Happy Hour at the bar is 17:00-19:00 where all cocktails are Euro 6.00. Cocktail Bar waiter 'Samir' was exceptionally helpful and knowledgable. Nothing was too much for him. Views of the city and river from the riverside of the hotel are great. There is a major well renowned German Theater right next door. Superb entertainment.Things to improve; The Saunda, Dry/Wet Steam room is also exceptional, but for some strange reason they keep it clossed all morning until 12:00 no. When I asked why? I got a "Computer says no" moment. The rooms which face the Bemen side of the hotel overlook the main highway through Brmen which is busy all night waith traffic. Because the sound-proofing is poor, you hear the trafic all night. The TV has limited channel (Like no Dutch TV, Pathe etc) and the HDMI sockets don't work, so you can't stream from your Phone or PC to the TV. No Dutch TV. Alexander Skibbe, General Manager at Steigenberger Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and for traveling from the Netherlands to visit Bremen and stay with us! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, the beautiful views of the Weser, and the friendly service from our team. Special thanks for mentioning Samir at the bar – we will gladly share your kind words with him. It’s great to know that our Happy Hour and the proximity to the renowned theater added to your experience.Regarding your suggestions for improvement:Sauna opening hours: We appreciate your feedback and will review how we can make this facility available earlier in the day for our guests.Traffic noise: For guests who prefer a quieter stay, we offer rooms on the opposite side of the hotel, away from the main road. Please feel free to request this for your next visit.TV and streaming options: Our TVs are equipped with Chromecast, allowing you to stream content directly from your phone or PC. We’ll ensure this information is communicated more clearly to avoid any confusion.Thank you again for your valuable input. We hope to welcome you back soon for another enjoyable stay in Bremen!Best regards,Alexander SkibbeGeneral Manager

    One Night in Bremen

    rating27 Sept 2025

We only spent one night here (to break our road-trip thru Germany) and did not use the wellness facilities. We stayed here many years ago so this was a repeat stay. Friendly check-in; Good breakfast;Lovely room. The location is good if you don’t mind walking along the river promenade ( approx. 20 minutes) into town. A comfortable stay and we would stay here again. Alexander Skibbe, General Manager at Steigenberger Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us again during your road trip through Germany. We're delighted to hear that you had a comfortable stay and appreciated the friendly check-in, lovely room, and our breakfast offering. It's always a pleasure to welcome returning guests, and we're glad our location by the river promenade added to your experience. We hope to welcome you back again soon — perhaps for a longer stay to enjoy our wellness facilities next time!Best regards,Alexander SkibbeGeneral Manager

Solid choice, but a bit far from downtown

    rating01 Aug 2025

It’s a brand new, squeaky clean property and right on the river. Rooms are modern and spacious, especially for European standards. And I thought it was surprisingly quiet. Parking is convenient next door, at €10/day. It’s however a good 25 minutes walk to the old town, which was my own fault for not double checking. It’s in an area that’s very new and modern, so if you’re looking for old world charm, this is not it. But I would recommend if you’re looking for predictability and comfort. Alexander Skibbe, General Manager at Steigenberger Hotel Bremen, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for your detailed and thoughtful feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness, spaciousness, and quiet comfort of our rooms, as well as the convenience of our parking and riverside location. Your comments about the modern surroundings and the walk to the old town are very helpful for future guests, and we appreciate your honest perspective. While we may not offer the charm of historic architecture, we’re glad you found value in the comfort and predictability we strive to provide. We hope to welcome you again should your travels bring you back to Bremen.Warm regardsAlexander SkibbeGeneral Manager
