  Very unprofessional hotel and unacceptable staff behavior

  The hotel is very unprofessional and clearly not prepared for different situations, especially when it comes to handling guests under assistance services.The staff was unfriendly, arrogant and at times aggressive and intimidating. The way I was treated in front of other guests was unacceptable and created a very negative experience.Instead of resolving the situation, the hotel showed a lack of organization and communication.This kind of behavior is unacceptable. The case is currently being reviewed legally.I do not recommend this hotel, especially for people using assistance services.

  The staff were tremendous and very helpful and polite, particularly the young lady at reception. We arrived for the MotoGP and one of the nice things to do when you get back from the race is to re- watch with the commentary however the wifi in the room was non existent or kept cutting in and out and to say the least was frustrating. Phone signal was also dreadful in the room. Great WiFi in the reception area but not what you need. Our friends watching the football said the reception area telly signal kept cutting in and out so not ideal eh !Breakfast was great, good value and the person running it was really friendly and efficient.No on site restaurant which was a shame but Burger King very nearby.Train station 5 mins walk away to get into Chemnitz central and access to all the amenities Jennifer Schädl, Guest Services / Front Office at ACHAT Hotel Chemnitz, responded to this review Dear Excursion48017182995,thank you for your feedback.   Quality - Price relation of this hotel is good.The price level is fair for the quality you get.The rooms are clean, confortable and have all you need.Parking for car is spacious, and free of cost.Hotel location excellent. on outskirts city I save 10 minutes every morning to go out from Chemnitz, for other alternatives like Opera or Alexanders (hotels are better, but more inside city and more expensive).Staff is friendly.I will return for several times, if price keeps same level.Recommend for who is at work, and want to sleep in confortable hotel.

  Stayed one night and it was great for that: easy location near the autobahn, free parking, quiet location. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Had to pay 10€ for bringing a dog. There were two bottles of water in the room but no opener to open them.

  We were here for a spontaneous overnight stay on the drive from Germany to Poland. Got a really good deal through a popular booking portal (63eur for two adults and a baby). The hotel may not be the most modern but the rooms are tidy and clean, you're provided with body wash, shampoo and lotion, water. And most importantly the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is a bit pricy (14eur pp) but very good for this category so worth it. We totally recommend this place!
