  One of the worst bad experience under Wyndham umbrella

  One of the very bad options of Wyndham. They took our reward points like any good hotel and provide us a very bad tiny cabin. They offered single bedroom for the same points as the double in a very good hotel, but unfortunately it’s not a room its small tiny cabin which can serve, hotel security guard or hotel staff members to take some rest not a room for hotel guest. There is no space even to keep your luggage bag, as I have to keep it in front to the door room. The bed is stick to the wall & you must jump to go to the other side. They are putting instructions into the main entrance door of the hotel for night entry service , so you must call this number which is no body answering it at all & mentioned 24 hours service location for any emergency which is 8 minutes walking away from the hotel, but unfortunately its also closed as well. Very bad services only suck our points and cheated us for the single tiny cabin not hotel guest room for a single person.I must check out at the very early morning and left my key card in the room and I was having one checked in bag and carry on. while going out from the hotel, unfortunately the door is closed and my other bag was inside and tried to call the number as per the instructions fitted on the door and no answer at all and I will miss my flight by this way and tried to walk to the operation office as per the other option mentioned on the hotel door entranced as well, but after reaching over there, the office was not working again, its a very bad experience specially when it comes from hotel serving guests and list an instructions as hotel policy and they are not following it. it was a nightmare dealing with this crab hotel plus the small, tiny cabin that they cheat us and name as a single room.   Quaint hotel with lovely staff.

  Quaint hotel with lovely staff. The hotel room was perfect for one night and right in the centre, within walking distance from the cathedral and main shops. When I arrived early here, they provided me with breakfast despite their breakfast closing shortly before. The hotel room was pleasant and comfortable. Small room but plenty of space as a solo traveller. After checking out from the hotel, I left my bag there to pick up later on. When I came back, they let me sit in the hotel to charge my phone and the gentleman on the front desk gave me some delicious cake and some water. The staff here were very nice and i felt very welcomed. As my first solo holiday, it was exactly what I needed.   Cheap for a reason

  Located in a back street very near to the Dom but if you only want a place to sleep and don't care about how it looks or how clean it is .it then ideal . Plus side is that the breakfast is good . and the staff are nice . bad side is it desperately needs updating . Lastly there is an extra payment you have to make for the city tax, even though there is no mention of it until you get your bill . my tip is say you will pay at the end of the holiday and then refuse to pay it .   So dirty!

  So terribly dirty. The hotel is old but this is not an excuse for bad cleaning. The bathroom had bacteria growth on the floor around the toilet, on the walls in the shower. Surfaces were dirty. My bed sheet was washed but had an old blood spot. Wooden parts in bathroom was broken because of mold. Not nice at all!   Centrally located, clean room, possibility to self check in, all instructions provided.Friendly and informative staff. 5 mins walk to Kölner Dom,Rail station.
