    Reasonable hotel but some odd features

    This hotel is pretty good, though there are some odd things about it. It is partially used as an old age home, so be ready for that -- you are going to see old people using mobility aids and there are handrails in the hallway. If you yourself have mobility issues, then this is definitely the hotel for you—there is access to elevators and ramps, places to sit, extra wide doorways and step-through no-lip showers. The place was spotlessly clean.Aside from the odd dual usage, the hotel is fine. I did find it very hot at night, and it's unclear if there is A/C or if I just couldn't control it from my room. The bed was reasonably comfortable (though mine was 2 twins put together to form a Queen, and the crack was noticeable between the beds.) For the business traveller, the internet was noticeably subpar, and kept dropping. You have to log in multiple times per day in an annoying login screen that needs all kinds of info. Not the best, and should be fixable. The pool area was closed when I was visiting. I did find the sound of the heavy doors slamming during the night quite loud. It's also a hotel that wakes up early, so expect corridor noise from 7am or a bit before.     The hotel was OK. Below expectations, especially given the price. The hotel is dated and in need of modenisation. Whilst rooms were clean and served it's purpose, I found it extremely overpriced for what was actually on offer.Reception staff whilst pleasant, not very helpful. It's slightly away from the main old town - about 10-15 min walk.     Clean rooms. Dreary basement setting. Pool not working. Looks and feels like nursing home. Staff not particularly friendly. No breakfast. Location just ok not too far from train maybe 10 minutes. Restaurants shops old town about 10 minutes.     The check in was good, the room was spacious. Breakfast was good, a lot of choice. The dinner was moved to our first night, because we arrived too late. Bath room was a little dated. Check out was also smooth. You can park your car in the car park next to the hotel.     Restorative stay

    This is the most wonderful hotel if you are interested in a restorative stay. The staff is warm friendly the hotel clean and it has a fabulous pool warm clean comfortable and an immaculately clean sauna and showers. Strongly encourage to pay for breakfast included as the breakfast buffet is exceptional. Additionally there is a laundromat in the basement that you can use for $2.50 euros. If you cant read German find someone to help you as it is not intuitively obvious how to use you must put the settings you want in place before paying or you lose your coins! The hotel is combined with an assisted living which is interesting and feels like it works well. Will definitely come back if returning to Bonn and next time would try and get a room that is on the garden. Highly recommend
