    Nice and new but poorly designed and executed. Not recommended.

    It's a nice new hotel in a good location with some good amenities. Check in was ok although no where to park to check in so you need to leave the car with hazard lights on. No disabled parking. Parking garage although good, very expensive at 25Euros a night. Room nice enough comfy bed although didn't sleep as the ventilation fan was very annoying, it was noticeably noisy kept stopping briefly and then back on which was more annoying than if it just running! Couldn't see how to turn off. Lighting in the room was poor as lights too bright. Glass toilet is just wrong even if staying with partner. Bar area ok although staff grumpy and appear uninterested. Didn't do breakfast as 25euros each! Clean enough but seems aimed more the business traveller. Defo won't be back and sadly won't recommend to family who live nearby.

    Nice stay, hotel is really clean. Rooms are comfy, unusual set up but if passing id stay here again. Not far from the centre either. Staff are friendly and helpful.     Great local hotel, conveniently located with underground parking. Just a short walk from the centre. Rooms are comfy and quiet with the usual coffee machine etc. Reception is quick and efficient, both for checking in and out. Can highly recommend and will certainly be back when next in the area.     · Very nice place. Room is big and clean.Good position to visit Cologne, the train station is 5 minutes away.Breakfast was fantastic, great choice and quality.There is a lot of care about the environment: for example there is nothing single-use in this hotel, only the cups you use for honey or jam, and event they are edible! · The garage is nice and safe, but very expensive, 22€/day. You better find another place to park the car.There was 3 of us. The main bed was fantastic, but the 2nd one (for the kid) was very very uncomfortable.     Nice new hotel with quirky hvac

    This is a newer facility in a good location. Larger rooms are immediately adjacent to elevators and stairwell, quieter rooms are small and away from the elevators. The breakfast was nice, well staffed and in a large, pleasant dining room. There is paid parking beneath the hotel but it is limited as the garage doesn't belong to the hotel. We never had a problem but if there were a large number of guests with vehicles it could be an issue. For a modern facility the HVAC system was poorly designed and/or executed. Warm days allow a/c all day but as the outside temperature drops in the evening, the system switches to heat and heats rooms well above the set temperature. We returned from dinner to find the thermostat set at 19 degrees C and the actual room temperature 24 degrees C and the heat running. Windows do open but there are no screens; this allowed the room to cool after being unnecessarily heated. Opening windows does shut down entire hvac system for the room. When notified, the staff advised that the system was "automatic" and they had no controls to adjust. Our HVAC system is modern and high efficient. It tooks part of our enviromental goals to safe energy - by highest comfort. The system allows to heat in the winter time (outside temperature) and to cool down in summer (warm weather).
