The hotel is located between Cologne and Bonn just off the A59 exit 37 Spich/Niederkassel. It is a 10-minute walk to the village of Spich and the nearest train station where trains leave twice hourly for Cologne City Centre, Cologne Exhibition Centre and Cologne Arena. Cologne-Bonn Airport is only 10 km away, while Cologne Cathedral (Dom) is 20 km away. Cologne and Bonn offer visitors great recreational activities such as the chocolate, art and history museums, Phantasialand, riverboat trips and the carnival to name just a few. Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre is 45 km away.

    A decent trek from Cologne or Bonn!

    Positioned some distance from Bonn, Cologne and even Troisdorf, the hotel appeared to be positioned on a retail park. This meant there were some fast food restaurants close, but nothing of any note. The rooms were standard for Holiday Inn, though for some reason we were presented with twin rather than double rooms. Everything seemed to work (though there was no sugar with the tea and coffee), though it was somewhat limited. Soundproofing worked well, though it could not prevent the noise of the slamming doors and screaming kids on the Sunday morning. There was limited choice on the tv (especially for those of us with little German language) and no obvious communal area, even though the bar was nominally open.Breakfast was decent, and clearly popular.

    Hotel room window didn’t close so we had a lot of nouse all night long. Breakfast was good. However, our parking was included for 1 week, but the hotel didn’t warn us for the restaurants parkings right next to the hotel. There were no clear parking signs where to park exactly for hotel residents or restaurant guests. After we got back from our holiday our car was towed away. We had to go to Koln by taxi and paid a ridiculous amount to a seedy towing company to get our car back. This happens more often to hotel residents, the receptionist told us. The hotel should has warned us for these radical and excessive practices.

    Great Hotel Very Clean

    From the moment we arrived to the moment we left this Holidayinn express was amazing. Check in great Hotel spotless Room very clean if a little small but hey ho it’s ok for one night stopover. Breakfast plentiful. There’s a Turkish restaurant within the same building but a separate entrance it’s amazing. There is a service station also next to the hotel if you just wanted something from there and eat in your room. Sadly with most hotels now they charge for car parking which was probably free before Covid, as I’ve noticed more and more hotels are charging for this even though there’s nowhere else to park 🤷🏻‍♀️.

    Superb customer service. Young family and massively welcoming and accommodating. Really really nice and friendly staff. Room small but clean quiet and with good facilities. Breakfast buffet very comprehensive and ideal for young kids and adult alike. Well done to all the staff

    Stayed for business. It is near to airport. Great for taxi or uber. It is a 10 minute walk to train station for s-bahn. Nice and clean room. Mine was small but well placed. Quiet and tidy hotel. It has a nice breakfast buffet in the morning. I would definitely recommend it for travellers.
