    Great location in the city centre

    Brilliant location, walking distance to all the main areas - old town/cathedral and the modern shopping areas. Plenty of places very close for eating and shopping immediately outside the door. Hotel is nicely decorated. Room was small with only a little space around the bed, but adequate. Bathroom was reasonable. Very quiet considering its busy central location - no noise from outside. Did not have breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on that. There was a bar but it did not seem to be open while we were there. I would return to this hotel, perhaps in a larger room. It was modern and good value, and we enjoyed our stay in this great city.

    Arruved lunchtime but they keep you waiting to check in at 3pm on the dot. A long queue waiting for 3pm for very slow checking. We had a suite which overlooked main road. Location was good. House keeping lack lustre, floor was filthy and surfaces dusty. The 5th floor was being renovated by our room, exposed wires, workmens tools etc all weekend.

    Spent three nights during a fair. Good location with a short walk to the train station and a variety of restaurants. Room was ok with a small desk for work. Otherwise nothing special. Cleaning was not the best since I found some papers with names of a previous person staying in the room. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special though. And the breakfast room was hot and crowded. I guess the hotel was full. Overall a good hotel with good location.

    The location is good. The room felt a bit small for 4 pax but confortable enough. It is very clean and staffs are very friendly and helpful. The only thing is there are no complimentary on tea and coffee in the room. However, overall experience was great as it was our first time in Cologne.

    Too many issues to warrant 4 star rating!

    There isn't really much point writing a review in terms of informing the hotel as all the faults keep being written on here but clearly the hotel has no intention of addressing them but for any future guests ....here goes!!1. No toiletries provided. Had to ask twice and got two tiny bars of soap. Empty toiletries boxes from previous occupants just left on the sink for three days.2.Rooms far too hot and the aircon seems non responsive.3. Rooms really dark as the lighting is inadequate.4. No glasses left in the room and when we asked for some they left two tiny champagne flute style ones!!!5. Pillows like cotton wool.6. Sink didn't have plug until we asked for one.7. Shower just handheld over the bath with no shower curtain so bathroom floor was flooded.8. Some write ups of the hotel imply it has leisure/gym but it doesn't as you have to go up the road.9. Long check in process10. Asked them to book a taxi to the airport which they didn't11. The bar is small and really, really dark with little choice of drinks.Over priced and certainly not what I would call 4 star.I think that is probably enough because if after all that you still book then any more issues are unlikely to dissuade you.There is a good point though - it is centrally located.
