  The room was very nice. But the elevators did not work and the sauna was put out of order while we were there. Great location though

  I stay at Hotel Lyskirchen in Cologne regularly, and every single visit has been outstanding.The location is perfect. Just two tram stops from the trade fair, making it incredibly convenient for business trips, while still being in a great central area close to the Rhine and the old town.The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. It is the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease, whether you are staying for a few days or longer.What truly makes this hotel exceptional, though, is the staff. Everyone is professional, friendly and genuinely welcoming. A very special mention goes to Carina in the breakfast restaurant. She consistently goes above and beyond and creates such a warm, personal atmosphere that it genuinely feels like a home away from home. This is one of the main reasons I keep coming back.Breakfast itself is excellent with a great selection and high quality across the board.All in all, this hotel sets the standard for what a stay should feel like. It is my go to place in Cologne and I am already looking forward to my next stay.   All you need for exploring Christmas Markets and the sights of Cologne in a small package.

  Fantastic location for exploring Cologne, the Christmas markets, lovely restaurants, bus and boat tours. The staff are very polite and helpful. Gluten free bread/toast is available for breakfast on request when entering the restaurant with some cooked options, fruit, yogurt, nuts and seeds. There’s a variety of coffee and teas. Lovely pool and small sauna. The shower drain did flood slightly on our last day however staff were quick to respond. This small hotel is environmentally responsible and so room service is tailored to individual guest requests, through the reception staff each morning. Fresh water is available for the rooms from reception which is a lovely touch as hotel rooms can be quite warm at night.

  I was meant to stay there next week 13th-16th of November. I had tochange my plans andrequested to stay in February instead. I checked andthere were rooms available.I understand my booking was non refundable but their response showed no understanding or willing to help. Their response was blunt.I had to cancel and lost the money for 3 nights stay. No compassion or willing to help. No customer service or alternative offered.

  Hotel is located very close to center and some squares with lots of restaurants. Room was nice and space and there is a nice pool and an ok fitness room.We booked online in a break while driving and then drove so did not see the mails about pre registration. So when I buzzed the parking the receptionist was a little annoyed I did not pre—book parking. But friendly when I got in and helped with the online registration.
