The hotel is located at the heart of the city of Cologne. The Philharmonie lies just across the street, whilst the old town and the departure point for cruises on the Rhine can be reached in just a few minutes walk. Cologne's main train station is also within metres of the hotel.

204 rooms, including 2 suites, 60 single rooms and 133 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests can buy souvenirs at the gift shop. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee).     I had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Mondial am Dom Cologne - MGallery. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the Cologne Cathedral, making it incredibly easy to explore the city.The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are well designed, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful.One of the best parts was how convenient everything felt — restaurants, shops, and major attractions are all within walking distance.Overall, a great mix of comfort, style, and location.     Brilliant location only a short walk from the cathedral and train station and rooms had comfy beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful and was even treated to a chocolate bunny on Easter! I would definitely return.

    I just came back from Cologne and Mondial. I know MGallery hotels very well, i have been to plenty. I am not 100% convinced about its rating,4.5 stars. Location is certainly a top point but Old Town sounds a bit vague, there is not much of an Old Town here anymore. sadly. is in front of the unbelievable cathedral though, a stunning building that talks wonder about men's ingenuity. a stunning edifice. I was upgraded to room 417 and i had plenty of space. my only gripe is the quality of fixtures. they look a bit "cheap" to me. breakfast very good, the chef is italian so i would never dare complain. I did not try the little gym or the in-house restaurant. staff was polite and as everywhere english speaking. i asked for a quiet room and i did not hear much. i told the reception to work on NOT having cleaning staff knocking and then walking inside the room without having heard my permission. they walked on me 5 times in 2 days! apart from this all good. thank you.     Classy and Quiet Stay in Ideal Location

    Beautiful, classy hotel in an ideal spot. I had just arrived from a red eye flight and train ride, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming. The room had ample space, including bathroom space, a nice windows looking onto the courtyard with a nicely lit Dom model. My stay was quiet and comfortable - Nespresso maker in the room and excellent breakfast (including nice coffees teas and juices) selection. The ambiance in the breakfast area was really enjoyable too. Easy walk from train station, Dom, museums, and just across the street is the Philharmonie to take in a concert. I would love to return to Koln and Hotel Mondial!     Reliable Choice for Trade Show Visits in Cologne

    We stayed at the Mondial during the ISM trade show in Cologne and, overall, had a very good experience.The rooms were comfortable, well equipped, and ideal after long days at the show. The location is excellent - right in the centre of the city near the cathedral and main square, with plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. We chose to walk to ISM most days; it took around 25 minutes and was a pleasant way to get some fresh air rather than sitting in an Uber.Check-in was a little unusual. The hotel was very strict about rooms being paid in advance, which proved slightly tricky as we were travelling as a group but arriving separately. My advice would be to ensure all rooms are settled before arrival to avoid any hassle.The only other minor quirk was the duvets — they were so cosy that it was easy to get a bit too warm during the night!Overall, it was a good stay and I would happily stay there again.
