    Unbeatable location

    Staying in this hotel has one great advantage: the umbeatable location, “inside” the train station (with one exit to the station) and right next to the cathedral (the other exit to the street), that allows you to walk to all the main atractions (old town, museums, river, restaurants). If you want to explore other citys, like Aachen, Dortmund, Bonn or Koblenz, you are literally in the station. Regarding the hotel, the rooms are small, bathroom small, the average íbis standards, cleaning ok, breakfast ok. Dont expect more than that. Although its a little bit more expensive than a regular Íbis, thats due to its location. Because of that i recommend it.

    Poor cleaning. Bed linen was stained. Cleaning team were arguing with each other outside our room.Lady receptionist overcharged us.She also tried to tell us we were not entitled to free weekend breakfast at Ibis.We love the location of this hotel. But clean bedding is a vital ingredient for a safe stay.

    When you book Accor Ibis, you know what to expect : the bare essentials. That is what you get in Ibis Koeln Am Dom : smallest possible room, tiny bathroom (with cupboard-size shower), no extras.But everything is clean, functional, adequate. Plus, the staff are friendly and you cannot beat the location : virtually inside the train station, adjacent to the Dom and walking to Old City and Rhine River.Good value for money for a short stay.

    As the saying goes…”Location, location, location”. This hotel is in a fantastic location. We had partial view of cathedral from the room, and we could walk there in 5 min. Main train station right next door. Restaurants, shopping, and museums are close. The Rhine River is an easy walk. The room was clean and had all the basics. They even squeezed in a desk/chair which was nice. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

    This hotel was excellent. It was clean, staff was very nice and the location was the best! You are in the middle of it all and right next to the most amazing Cathedral! I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
