    Practical, efficient and perfect for business

    The hotel and services are up to the chain standards.However, what makes the hotel exceptional is Dominique and the team, who are always very proffessional and helpful.I've been staying here for business with my team for many years and it is always a pleaure how easy they make the process for large groups and companies.Very recommended as it is within walking distance to the fair and offers all the facilities required

    I have stayed in IBIS's before this was just not very good.. and it WAS NOT BUDGET.. over 420 Euro for 2 nights in a twin room but the best part.. A TWIN room and when I went to check in with 2 people they said oh you made a reservation for 1 and charged me another 31 Euro. UMMM I booked a twin room with no breakfast, no anything actually and why would a single person need a twin room? What is the extra cost? Also I showed my reservation saying I had booked for 2.. I was told 31 Euro or I couldn't check in and I prepaid so no $$ back. Seems like a scam! Anyway, if there is no where else, AT ALL, available and you need to be near the arena (or this area) then it's acceptable I guess. That's about as positive as I can get. I mean the room was a room with 2 beds, they weren't uncomfortable but nothing to write home about.. There was a little market place in the lobby but don't expect a cold beer or water and you won't have a fridge. The shower was a glass box in the room so no privacy there, a sink about the size of a bowl. Again if you needed to be near the arena and we did because we were working then it is pretty close

    I've stayed in IBIS hotels before so I knew what I was in for but this was even worse than expected. The room was very small there were ZERO amenities, a small toilet room, shower and sink in the middle of the room. No place to put a bag that is out of the way, AC barely worked and on top of all this the staff at check in was not nice and charged additional $ from what my friend had on his reservation. Additional when asking staff for some local information they handed a bad map. There are better options elsewhere TRUST ME!

    The hotel is not central but reasonably well connected. Rooms clean and acceptable for a few-days stay. No wardrobe. Bed confortable.I did not like the booking policy: I booked a room for two, then the webiste required to insert the name of the guests, it was one field only so I input mine. Right after the booking I wrote to the hotel to give the name of my husband: they said I should have put both names, with commas, in the single field, and I had to pay 10€ to insert my husband's name in the reservation. So not really customer-oriented.

    I stayed here for 3 nights, It may not be in the centre but it has good transport links. From The airport, S19 to Cologne Messe, there are taxis outside the station if you don’t want to walk to the hotel.It had everything I needed, it was quiet, clean and had a good shower and very good wifi connection. Also had a very good air conditioning which was needed. The nearest supermarket is Lidl which is a 10minute walk and 15minute to the Cologne Messe station or you can take the tram/bus which is 350metres away which also takes you across the bridge. There is also a mini market in reception for cold drinks and snacks open 24hrs which was handy.I didn’t have breakfast here so I cant comment on that. I had a very enjoyable stay and I would stay here again.
