  Strictly recommended for early morning the next day from airport Bonn-Cologne

  Very close to Airport Bonn-Cologne. Perfect, if you have an early flight. We arrived the evening before, joined a warm welcome at the Check-in, dinner at the restaurant and a drink at the bar. The whole staff was very friendly and competent. Start in the early morning to vacation. We booked sleep, park and fly. Shuttle bus just in time, 5 min. far away from the Airport.   Ok but not recommended if you need a day room

  The hotel is very convenient for CGN Airport. It is within very easy walking distance. If you stay in the hotel overnight you will likely have a good night's sleep. However if you work Nightshift at the airport then sleeping during the day is hit and miss. There is often building work going on at the hotel. Today I went to bed at 7am and by 11am I was woken by the sound of a jack hammer being used next door. This has happened on many occasions and there seems to be no tie up on shift workers needing to sleep during the day and either giving them a room as far away as possible from the noise or making sure the work is carried out as far away as possible from the guests trying to sleep. The Moxy hotel just down the road is much better in this regard. As part of the renovations for this hotel they have replaced carpet with a wood look (plastic?) hard flooring. There is a lot of noise if the people in the room above move their chairs which have hard plastic feet on them (rather than soft felt or similar to keep the noise down) Also the breakfast is hit and miss. There is a plate of cut up fruit put out when breakfast starts at 6:30ak but when the fruit is gone it is not replaced. Today there was only a basket of not very nice looking apples and nothing else for fruit.   Not perfect but still value

  Stayed here over a weekend while visiting Christmas markets. On the plus side the hotel is located close to the city centre and right by the airport. Staff are friendly and efficient. The room was quite large and spacious which we loved and was well maintained.On the negative side the shower drain was a bit backed up which caused water to run out the shower. Also breakfast was not that great. Also 15 Euro per day for parking (insert sad face).   Need to be near the airport? This is the place to stay!

  This is an airport hotel - nothing luxurious. But it was exactly what I needed as it was close to the office I was working in for the week. And, it was fantastic, mostly due to the people. Everyone, from the shuttle drivers to the waiters (Marcel and Chandra), receptionists to the maids, were professional and friendly. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfy and it was really quiet all night (it didn't matter that I was on the 'airport side'). There was maid service every day. None of this new trend of 'limited maid service'. I like to come back to a clean room and a made bed after a hard day's work!The free shuttle from the airport was easy and fast (just ask at the Info Desk at the airport where to find the phone. It's not easy to find).The food in the restaurant was great, too. There was a full selection of fresh and tasty food at breakfast. The dinner menu was small, but everything I ordered was delicious.Thanks for a fabulous place to rest my head every evening. If you need to stay close to the airport, this is the place to be!   BEST HOTEL AND STAFF - EURO 2024

  What a beautiful set of people work here, some of the nicest people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble, we had omelettes cooked for us and bacon when they had it! Hubbie & son was very happy. We stayed for 2 weeks during the Euro 2024 and had 2 of the best weeks holiday we have had. Special shout-out to Thomas who collected us from the airport after a very bad encounter with the over enthusiastic new young airport police! Thomas loaded all our luggage (a lot I might add) quick trip to the hotel, where we went straight to the bar and met another member of staff (I am sorry I can’t remember his name, tall man with beard) who again was lovely. The bar is small, but cosy and friendly most nights when this man was on duty. Wasn’t keen on the other nights we went in, seemed to be the other barman’s friends in there and they got the preferential treatment. Food was lovely, although we only had bar snacks twice whilst we were here. Breakfast is gorgeous - although the coffee machine did break down twice, we were ok because we always carry our own mochas/teabags etc. The Room: Beds super clean and comfy - did have to get more pillows which did seem to take a while, but big hotel and they were busy. Just asked again and then they arrived. Shower was good - over a bath which isn’t ideal for us, but we managed. Main thing for me is cleanliness, and for me best hotel for this in years, I usually arrive and have to clean the room myself! Everywhere else was kept clean and tidy. Lovely outside area for you to enjoy a coffee, drink. They have a bar out there that was open a couple of evenings when we got back. Although many people were sitting outside, they were enjoying themselves but were also respectful of others in bed. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and stay here again, would probably fly into Düsseldorf not Koln, one of the worst airports I have been to. But we will definitely go back to the Leonardo when we are over for any matches. Take care everyone and thanku again for looking after us.
