    “27 Minutes Late, Fully Charged”

    I had a reservation for 19–24 December with pay-at-the-door terms. Due to being in transit, my cancellation was made 27 minutes late. Despite this, the full stay was charged to my credit card, which I only noticed afterward.Since I was not informed that this charge would be non-refundable, I created a new reservation, assuming the initial charge would be refunded. As a result, I ended up paying twice and staying in a worse room than the one I had already paid for.The hotel claims that a 27-minute delay made the room impossible to resell, which is simply unrealistic and unsupported by any evidence. This shows a complete lack of goodwill and reasonable customer handling.The matter was handled by Sandra Steinbach from hotel management, yet no fair or professional solution was offered.

    Smashing place about a ten minute walk from the railway station. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast had everything what you could wish for and plenty tea and coffee. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had to leave early due to our train been cancelled the receptionist on duty fully understood why we chose to leave and get the first train we could to Brussels.

    Positives• great location - easy walking distance to the centre• friendly staff• good breakfast Negatives• safe in room fid not work. When we spoke to reception they were unable to fix as maintenance person was off either Covid. • room was very warm. Air conditioning not working. When someone from reception came to look said he didn’t know how it worked. • tv in room had no English speaking channels. Not even the news. But according to the hotel information numerous channels should have been available. We had a pleasant stay but some things were frustrating.

    Lovely modern hotel. Rooms were lovey and clean. Nice choice of breakfast. Staff very friendly. Would come back again.

    Great location for cathedral

    We spent one night here while visiting Koln. The location was great with about a 10 minute walk to the Cologne Cathedral, train station and Rhine River. The room had everything we needed, lots of towels, fridge, coffee maker, wifi, air conditioning and comfortable beds. The breakfast selection was fantastic and included in the room rate. They had onsite secure parking which was an extra fee but well worth it since parking would have been very difficult to find on the street.
