  Unmaintained, dirty room. Unhappy & very disappointed guest

  Terrible room! The entire carpet is so old with so much dirt, dusts and stains all over. The toilet is also not pleasant. We were very disgusted with the smell, stains, and some dirty black stuff falling from inside the toilet bowl. We traveled europe for 2 weeks and stayed with different hotels but this hotel was the worst besides the most expensive hotel we've ever stayed! For the cost, they should prioritize the cleanliness of the rooms. Very outdated , unmaintained room. We left with so much disappointment.

  Great room, great view

  Lovely hotel. Handy for the station. Had a super sized room. Had a great view from the top floor. Room was very clean. Only thing missing would be a little fridge. Don't bother with the expensive breakfast. There's a great bakery (Backwerk) 50m opposite the hotel which is open 24 hours. Coffee facilities in the room. Staff relatively friendly. Only rubbish thing is the aircon doesn't work. There air but it's not cold. The dial was glued in place, so one couldn't make it colder. Pity, as it was 32 degrees outside.   External appearnce lets down what is a pretty decent hotel.

  Stayed one night whilst on a trip for Euro 2024. Location right opposite the station is really good (and 5 mins walk from the river etc) but like all major staions some of the environemnt is a bit grim but it seemd well policed. The outside of the hotel is old and tired and that doesn't help first impressions and the same could be said for the reception and public areas. But that said, the rooms are spacious, clean and the bathroom whilst small worked perfectly well. The staff we met were freindly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. So don't be put off by how it looks on the outside as it really is a pleasant place to stay, helped by the warmth of the staff.   Good but...

  Good hotel in front of the main station. And closed to the Dom.Large and various breakfast.Quite and clean Room with average size Indeed bathroom a Little bit small size buy typical in Germany.   My room was big. The bed was very comfortable to sleep. Location just next to the train station and close to Cologne Cathedral. They offer very good and diversified breakfast. Friendly staff.In my opinion the price (almost 150 Euro including breakfast, single room) was too high.
