    The NO Hotel

    rating01 Jun 2025

All I can say is I am glad I stayed only two nights in this hotel. I have stayed in the B&B in Antwerp last year but didnt realise the standards of service are all different.First off, the hotel will NOT let you check in early even when the room is available. And it will NOT hold your bags for you so you can go somewhere and relax before coming back at checkin time 3pm. This is ridiculous, never had this in any hotel I have stayed in. It behaves like a hostel. But then they told me if I pay 15 euros I can check in at once and my problem will be solved. Wow this is extortion as this was NOT made clear at the time of booking. If I had known I would not book and pay to stay here. Deliberately misleading to make guests pay more. Dont bother to ask for the manager cos she is NOT here - never saw her in two days.At breakfast, there is NO other milk except diary milk. And of course they will NOT hold your bag after you check out. What struck me and angered me was the total indifference of the hotel to the guest comfort and welfare. The corporate behaviour is downright mean. I wonder if this is just this hotel or typical of the entire hotel group. P/S: Trip Advisor should change its rating system to allow zero or even negative stars. Keep helping the service providers and travellors like me will abandon this site for other more reliable travel sites.

    GOOD STAY

    rating30 Mar 2025

Went to watch the football so the hotel was in a good location. It's about a 30-minute walk. You can get a train from the airport to the Dortmund station, which is a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is in the centre so everything is within walking distance. Rooms are nice, the hotel is clean and I would recommend it for a short stay. Breakfast looked poor so went to a local cafe which was better value

    Great location

Visited this hotel for a weekend with 2 other friends to watch a BvB Dortmund match.Took this hotel because it’s a 2min walk from the centre.Visited other B&B hotels around Europe and there quiet the same so you’re most of the time in a very new hotel like this.Room was not so big, we had a family room and it was cramped with 3 adults, but all in all it was great for sleeping and showering. The most important it was very clean! At the reception/cleaning staff where all friendly and helpfull when we asked for information.Parking space at the hotel was very limited so you have to be lucky, otherwise in the surrounding streets is enough space (not sure it’s legal or only for neighbors, al least we didn’t get a ticket or towed away), in the lobby there is a vending machine with snacks and drinks (beers). If I return back for an other game this will be my hotel for sure, also metro to the Signal Iduna park is 2min walk.

Ideal hotel - free parking if you can get it

    rating11 Jun 2019

Stayed here after booking a last minute trip to watch Dortmund and my usual hotel being fully booked - I was not disappointed. The hotel offers free parking, but is limited. There is street parking also, which you must pay for but again, on a match day, not guaranteed. I managed to get a parking space which I had to pay for on the street but it was only a few euros for 24 hours. I was told as well, traffic wardens do not come often (especially on matchdays) and that if you were caught without a ticket, the fine was only 20 euros - but I didn't take the chance. Hotel just a short walk to the underground station, Reinoldikirche, which took you to Signal Iduna Park. The hotel itself was very bright, modern and clean. Would recommend when staying in Dortmund. Very central in Dortmund to to wonder the city also.
