    Stayed in this hotel 2 nights in different rooms. Very nice rooms, everything you needed. Very quiet at night,so no any noise can wake you up. Close to town center. Not expensive. Definitely coming back if will be in Bochum again.

    By far THE WORST experience of my life. Hotel staff (especially Aya) was extremely rude and unprofessional! No AC in the hotel. They refused to provide us with 3 beds even though we booked a superior triple room to fit 3 of us. Staff was screaming at guests, it was a terrible situation, don’t wish it on my worst enemies. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

    I stayed here for 10 days during a very unpleasant hot spell of weather 33degC every day. Now, i know the weather isnt the hotels fault but WOW the rooms were like a sauna. Never sweat so much in a hotel room. My room was south facing so faced the sun all day and when you arrived after work, the heat was astonishing. No air con (but thats Europe for you).When trying to cool down at night, you try to open windows but have to close them as they open out to a patio where people loudly drink until 1am.No offer of fans from hotel staff. I wonder if all rooms were like saunas, maybe i got unlucky.Aside from the heat, my room was tiny and the shower couldn't keep a stable temperature. The parking garage was tiny and it was tricky to park in the tiny spaces (i even got a warning on my dash from the hotels parking police about my parking). Breakfast was OK but expensive and quite repetitive if you're staying more than a week.

    staff were friendly and courteous along with being very efficient ,nothing was a bother to them .the room was spacious ,clean and had everything we needed for our stay.bar and sitting areas were comfortable and spacious ,even an outdoor patio was a bonus. the hotel is situated near the centre of bochum and transport links are within easy walking sistance . this hotel was a joy to stay and we hope to return

    Acora is quite big hotel some 10 minutes walk from Rathaus station. The location is on a busy street ( ask for a garden view if you want a rest ). We were accommodated on a highest floor (5th) which is likely additionally built and strangely it has staircase inside the room which are extremely narrow. Fairly the room was spacious and the hotel staff were polite. Some parts of the room looked worn out. My personal opinion is that it is not worth the money. Some very high rates considering what it is offered. Maybe Bochum doesn’t have enough hotel facilities so they skyrocket the accommodation prices. For me the rate of 130 Euro ( without breakfast) per night for a couple and a 10 year old kid is insanely high for this level of service. Would never come back.
