    We had a great weekend in Bochum, the hotel and the room was very clean and tidy. We were warmly welcomed and felt completely comfortable. Even our late arrival was no problem.     I give 4 out of 5 for the hotel per se and 1 extra point for the lovable and dedicated hostess. The hotel is down to earth, very clean and well connected to local transport (e.g. subway 5 min. Walking distance, 3 stops only to HBF). The inventory is a bit older, here and there "the paint" is already off, but everything is clean and everything works. You can take mineral water for free. Breakfast is absolutely sufficient and also delicious. The owner is a great and sympathetic hostess. Even in advance, the communication was exemplary. The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the Bochum colliery (concerts). And across the street is a beautiful pastry shop. Originally submitted in German on www.tripadvisor.de.
