    Clean basic hotel, easy commute to the city, helpful staff

    Stayed one night in February. This is a budget hotel, and I am rating this as a budget hotel. The property is basic, clean, no thrills. The room was adequate, the bathroom was a bit tight, felt like in a space capsule. Sleep was comfortable. Had a desk to do my remote work. Walking distance to the U-Bahn station. There is a supermarket around the corner. Reception staff was helpful - helped me out with the parking and were reasonable with my request for late (30 min) check out time. Had a (frozen) pizza warmed up for my dinner for 8 euros. That was not bad. Overall, an excellent place for those on a budget.

    Illegal behavior of hotel management

    We had to stay in a hotel for the night, on the way. The rooms are small, as in all budget hotels. That's not the problem.The problem is the lawlessness that goes on in the hotel.We were 7 minutes late for checkout because we were meeting our relatives at the train station.When we went into the room to get our things, they were not there. They took all of our stuff out. We were running around the hotel trying to figure out how to find our bags. The hotel was minimally booked. Our room had not been cleaned. When we found the maid, she said it was the receptionist's orders.After that we went down to the reception and asked on what basis without us, without the police, without any agreement touched our things and taken away in an unknown direction.The receptionist said that they have the right to do that.I asked to show where it was specified that you could enter the room and take out the personal belongings of the client without the consent of the client or the presence of the police.The receptionist looked for a long time in the documents of such a rule and finally said that there was no such rule.I asked her to admit that she had violated her job description and to apologize.She admitted to violating her job description, but did not apologize.And we and our relatives experienced wild stress.

    Lovely hotel. Warm and comfortable, excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are spotlessly clean and serviced every day, staff work so hard and are all very friendly. Would definitely stay here again, it has everything you need for a nice stay.

    Hotel fairly dated, but clean throughout. Room basic with only real amenity being the (tiny) TV. No tea or coffee making facilities nor iron. I feel the price is fairly steep for what you get, but it did the job for a couple of nights in Dortmund. Supermarket next door very handy too.

    I really recommend this place for a night or weekend stay. It is located close to the city centre - 10 minutes by slow stroll. Place is comfy and clean, staff helpful. On top of that there is underground parking lot- within price. 👍👍
