    Reception ? What a reception , better to use a computer than the very unfriendly girl who gave us our room keys , I cannot bring myfelf to say ' welcomed us' . Further requests for help were also met with a stony face . Rooms have no air conditioning and staff must have left curtains open all day as it was way too hot for sleep on the first night. The good things about our stay- the room was clean and had big queen size beds and there is a delightful sunset bar that has just opened 50 m away on the river- do not miss a sunset drink here !

    The hotel was fine, easy and friendly check in:Rooms clean and quiet. Two large opening doors/windows which lets fresh air in. Adequate space. Only negative was the coffee situation which has a pod machine in the room which was not adequate, after you use the pods you have to pay for others, also there is no bar refrigerator in the room. Overall a recommended hotel with a fantastic location.

    A new hotel we are told, certainly looks it, excellent large rooms and super shower. Beds comfortable and clean. The location is of course, excellent, near the river and the historic centre of the city.

    This was our first visit to Dresden and we wanted to stay in a location that placed us in the middle of most attractions. This hotel definitely delivered on that. Frauenkirche, Striezelmarkt, Brühlsche Terrasse, Zwinger Augustusbrücke and many more smaller Christmas markets were within 3- 8 minutes of walking . The hotel itself is well managed, efficient and friendly staff, inviting lobby, clean and comfortable rooms. We opted for the breakfast that is served in the adjoining restaurant and can highly recommend it. An exceptional value. We will definitely stay there again upon our next visit to Dresden.

    A beatiful hotel in a fantastic location

    We stayed for one night in this hotel and we must have done something right, because we had an amazing room. The room was huge, with a separate table (great for playing board games) and an amazing view over the Elbe, on a 270-degree balcony. Room was quiet, the only drawback was that the bed for the third person, a collapsable sofa, was a joke, since it kept collapsing. We could fix it by putting a suitcase under the sofa, so it stayed ok for our son, but if it had been a grown-up this might have cause a major challenge. Also we were not happy that the sauna and the parking was charged extra and you had to inform the staff one hour in advance if you want to use the sauna. We had selected this hotel especially for the sauna since we like to warm up after a day of sightseeing, but 10 € per person is in my opinion a quite steep price.Apart from that this is a great hotel. Location is fantastic, good public transport to Dresden (tram going every 15 minutes during the day). Breakfast was good.
