    Perfect central location for exploring Dresden, with all major sights less than a 10 minute walk in any direction. We booked a Comfort Twin Room, which was clean, functional, and included a modern bathroom with a good walk in shower. There is no air conditioning, but the provided room fan kept things comfortable. We would stay here again, as it offers great budget value.

    Our stay here was alright. Our shower door would not fully close and so the entire bathroom would get soaked anytime someone showered. The room was pretty bare bones, but it did the trick for 2 nights. Otherwise, it’s really well located and has lots of great food and bar options in the area.

    We were lucky enough to snag a spot in the underground car park, note..very limited availability. Generous sized room, we ate in the bakery around the corner. Great location, though if you are arriving during the. Christmas Market period, ensure you enter the note from the main road a block back behind the hotel.

    Perfect hotel for enjoying the Dresden Christmas Markets!

    My group of 3 adults arrived to the Amedia Plaza Hotel via a taxi from the train station. It was a short drive (5-10 minutes). We were dropped off at a side door and found our way into the hotel. (There wasn't great signage to know it was the hotel entrance.) The lobby area is large and has plenty of seating for those waiting to check in. The front desk staff was kind and did their job. They spoke decent English but definitely didn't hustle or hurry to accomplish checkins. We were assigned room #120, which was a "Modern Suite" that we booked. Our suite was the biggest one that we encountered during our trip through Europe. It had a separate sleeping area which had a fantastic, outdoor, screened-in sitting area off of the room. The screened-in porch would be amazing in the Summertime, unfortunately we were there in the Winter and didn't get to take advantage of it. The "living room" area of the room was huge with a desk and pull out couch. It also had a refrigerator and coffee maker. The suite had an entire wall of windows that let in lots of natural light. It did face the buildings next door, so not a panoramic view. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We did not opt to have any cleaners during our short stay. The main reason to stay at this hotel is due to it's walking location to everything. We were there primarily for the Christmas Markets and this hotel location did not disappoint! Right out of our lobby was the Neumarkt and a short walk to the Mittelalter-Weihnact Market and a 5 minute walk to the BEST Christmas Market in Europe: the Striezelmarkt. We also walked to lots of restaurants like La Osteria or Hans Im Gluck to name a couple. Overall, we would stay at the Amedia Plaza Dresden hotel again. It is not a fancy hotel, but it is nice and most importantly conveniently located for walking everywhere.
