Perfect for business travellers as well as families, this hotel is situated on a main road about 8 hours' walk from the centre of Dresden.

Facility

The hotel was built recently, in 2021. The hotel has a lift and features 183 non-smoking rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include an alarm call service and a laundry service. Bicycle storage for no extra charge is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A business centre with projector and a flip chart and pens is available.     Great hotel—very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was fresh and beautifully served each morning. The location is excellent, close to the old town. We were there for the Christmas market, and we will no doubt return to this hotel the next time we visit Dresden.A special shout-out to all the staff, but especially to Mauritus (sorry if I’ve spelled the name incorrectly), who was wonderful every morning at breakfast with his kindness and patience. The staff truly play a big part in what makes this hotel so good!     Quiet and clean hotel

    Hotel is very clean, the breakfast is very nice. Giant TV in the room and a kettle with teas. Location is convenient for the tram but not a tonne of stuff nearby. However it is very quiet and you can walk along the Elbe bank which is nice.     We stayed in a family suite which was clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. It wasn’t huge but perfectly nice with a good shower and amenities. It was quiet at night too. Parking outside was 18 euro a night. In good weather it would be a pleasant walk to the main tourist areas but we got caught out by torrential downpours and had to get a taxi back as we got a bit confused by the tram routes (but if you read up and planned that’s probably easiest). Staff were reasonably friendly. Breakfast was ok but not as varied as other hotels we have stayed in whilst touring Germany.

    Friendliness started at the reception desk! Staff throughout very polite. Room, clean and spacious, separate wc, walk in shower, large flat screen tv with English ( and other languages ) news channels. Dinning room/bar staff very polite, good menu ( you won't find pizza or hamburger/fries ) everything freshly cooked in the ' open ' kitchen. Excellent breakfast buffet, everything you can wish for. Parking available outside on the street or in the underground car park ( ask for rates ). Good value, try it out.     Stayed at this hotel with Go Ahead tours for two nights. Room was a nice size with two beds pushed together for a king size bed. Toilet was in a separate room. Room was very basic. However, we do provide one bottle of water per stay from the Superior category upwards.We also regret that the temperature control in the room was not satisfactory.
