The Grosser Garten lies only a pleasant walk away and the attractive city centre as well as Dresden's old town can both be reached by car in just 10 minutes. Public transport (tram line 9) is within walking distance.

The hotel was built in 1888. 95 rooms, including 10 suites and 20 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by 2 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available.     This hotel is dishonest.

    This hotel is dishonest. They overcharged me by €50 for parking and promised to refund the amount, but for two months they have been avoiding the issue and ignoring my requests. Their lack of professionalism and transparency is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this hotel.

    The kindest thing I can think to say about this dump is that we see no longer there! This hotel is truly awful. The reception area is dark and airless. There are no staff on duty from evening until 1.30 pm, and the only receptionist took a long time to check us in. We were then informed that the room I had booked had been mistakenly given to a gentleman who had gone out, so we were further delayed.The a/c in our room wasn't working, the room felt dirty, and you had to ask for the room to be cleaned. The water from the shower flooded the floor anð the extractor fan died, leaving the wetroom smelling badly. We reported the problems, but nothing was done.Oh, I finally thought of something positive: the breakfast rolls were soft and crispy, and the lone waitress was delightful and friendly.

    Nice and clean hotel naar the Airport 5 min with the bus and 20 min with the tram from the center .Recomend for familie or daily trip to dresden.Stayed here because our airplaine was cancelled and no regrets of booking here .If we are going to dresden we dont hasetate o book here again

    Difficult to say why we did not like the hotel. The room a (apartment) was big but with a very unpersonal feel to it. There is no hotel staff until 3 in the afternoon and the area is extremely noisy. All in all I would not recommend it.

    "Free" internet problems and tiny bathroom affected visit

    The hotel is in a nice neighborhood with cafes and small shops around the corner for handy breakfasts. We enjoyed walking past the Grosse Gardens along the lovely tree lined neighborhood of the hotel. Very handy to catch the tram as well.The rooms are clean, but the bathroom and shower so tiny you can barely turn around. (we aren't overweight people). The shower soap container kept falling on the floor, and the cleaning help didn't notice I guess. No counterspace around the sink either.One positive: free drinks in the mini bar, which were replaced daily as used....one beer, soda, juice, etc. A negative: no coffee pot, which is a problem since they don't serve breakfast in their dining room.They advertise free internet, but each day I had problems with my phone and iPad, and the desk clerks had to show me how it worked. Then the next day: same problem.One clerk was okay, but not very helpful....strictly "just the facts, ma'm".Like pulling teeth to get information out of him.However, the last day of our visit, a new staff came on, and the lady was very nice and helpful.
