    The hotel is very old fashion. It is located in a very big building surely of the Soviet Union time. Good things: polite staff; fantastic view of the old city Centre from the window; very big and clean room; close to the city centre. Negative thing: no air contitioning; too warm in the room.

    went for a short weekend to the hotel am Terrassenufer and had great room overlooking the river and old city and again smooth checkin and the same on our way out easy access and very efficient staff always there to help

    We checked in at the Terrassenufer during October for a couple of nights and were happy we did.Our room was large, probably the largest room we've stayed in over the period of years we've been traveling.Good, large comfortable bed and bathroom, quietness as well made our stay trouble free. The hotel's position is excellent, being on the perimeter of Dresden's city core and well within walking distance to everything a tourist wants. Close to the rail station and trams. Breakfast was easy, choice from a buffet or just a simple toast and coffee breakfast. Room rate we thought very reasonable.Would return again

    This hotel offers an affordable option for staying in Dresden. The hotel is located near to the city centre and it’s only a 10 minute walk from the centre. Rooms are good size and clean but One should not expect modern decoration.

    Firstly, the location is great. 5-10 mins from Frauenkirche and about 20 mins from Neustadt. I didn’t use public transport at all part from when coming from the main station. The rooms are nice- basic and a bit old fashioned but they have mostly everything you need. WiFi is a bit hit or miss which is a shame. Having a small fridge was also a bonus - it was 27 degrees when I visited so cold drinks were a must. The rooms do get very hot due to no AC but the fan provided works a treat. The hotel exterior isn’t the prettiest but the location and view make up for this. I would happily return, but would love AC and improved WiFi to be implemented.
