  A truly great Meliá as ever. Lovely welcome and upgrade. Only downside was that the bar was shut on a Monday, odd for both a business and leisure hotel.   Absolutely 5 star all around.

  Great location, just a block off the Frauenkirche, and tons of restaurants, shops and ‘must sees’ such as the Green Vault and many, many museums in 10-20 minute walking distance. The Christmas market is being set up now a couple blocks away but won’t be complete before we leave but looks to be stellar. The staff went out of their way to be helpful (thank you Emilio, I probably butchered your name spelling) whether for directions or snagging us forks for cake at the nearby bakery. Our room was spacious, serviced every day and featured a complimentary mini bar. Great water pressure for a hot shower after walking all day, complimentary coffee in the rooms and downstairs in the morning. Very clean, beds are fine and have warm comforters. These people very much over-deliver! We’ll look for the brand now as we travel. Note- not all rooms have stairs; we were upgraded gratis even though we have zero status with the chain.   Perfect hotel in the perfect location!

  Excellent hotel - perfect location in the shadow of Frauenkirche, 3-min walk to the terrace and river. Rooms are clean, modern - beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are large. Free minibar as always - very well-stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful. Added bonus of an excellent bar and restaurant also - with an excellent and varied breakfast. Will stay again!   Good, modern Meliá chain hotel in an excellent location of Dresden’s Old Town. The lower category room I’ve booked for 3 nights was surprisingly specious. Duvet was very thin, but it didn’t bother me much on those worm summer nights. I’d advise the hotel management to care more about the cleaning of the rooms. During my weekend stay, the dust bin in my room wasn’t emptied once and it looked as if the staff did not clean the room at all. Breakfast was just ok, there’s definitely room for improvement - simply by introducing a wider selection of fresh fruit and juices. Staff at the reception were kind and helpful. Overall, a good stay.   Excellent modern hotel within the inner city

  I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel in conjunction with a course I was invited to for three nights. The hotel location was excellent, to the east of the main town square in the old city. The hotel was clean and modern, with young polite staff. Wifi access was hotel-wide and complimentary.My hotel room was clean, modern, and VERY quiet and well insulated from noise from surrounding rooms. The breakfast offered was comprehensive, with hot and cold entrees, and a wide variety of beverages.Overall, a very pleasant stay in Dresden.
