Terrifying Security Breach – Avoid This HotelStayed for two nights on a business trip, and at 4:15 AM an unknown person entered our room (402) while we were sleeping. Front desk had no explanation and only said “we are sorry.” Completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Anyone could apparently walk in without verification. We did not feel safe at all. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We really liked this hotel we stopped here for one night while traveling through Europe with car. They were very accomadating with our children.The restaurant was good and the staff was really nice. We can really recommend this hotel to other people with families.

Review of the Hotel in Duisburg

Our check-in on January 3rd was very pleasant. The man at the reception was extremely friendly and patient, taking the time to explain everything to us clearly. The room had everything we needed, although it was a bit disappointing that we could only watch German TV channels without other options.The breakfast was okay, but I expected fresher croissants and bread rolls. Instead, I opted for toasted bread with some cheese and eggs, which was fine. On a positive note, the staff in the breakfast area were very friendly and attentive.On Saturday, the lady at the reception seemed a bit preoccupied with her own tasks, but it didn’t bother us much. We enjoyed the freedom to come and go with our room key and had a great time exploring Duisburg.Overall, a good stay with friendly staff, but there’s room for improvement in the breakfast quality and TV options.

Good place to stay if you are visiting the city center of Duisburg or the Christmas market

Nice rooms although they feel a bit dated. Staff was friendly and helpful.Really close to the city centre and the Christmas market. Parking garage across the street which is €12 a day. So the overal experience is nice although the hotel itself is a bit dated.

Good hotel located near a shopping center and opera house. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center and close to ample parking spaces. Friendly reception and very helpful. Breakfast is not really special, but sufficient.
