Expensive and little service!

The good:- Very clean.- Next to a chain grocery store.The bad:- They say reception is open 24/7 on their website but they close at 10 or even 9 pm. So they lie.- The staff was very cold and not smiling at all.Internet was horrible always disconnected.- Far from downtown.- You have to go to reception every time you need a cup of hot water! Just a small coffee machine in reception operated by themselves. So no hot water after 9 pm!- Expensive for little service!- They did not answer any of the emails I sent for booking and other stuff. Always had to call them 🙄- The vending machine worked only with coins! But it's a weird German thing I think that they are still living in 1990s doing business with coins! We like to commend the points you have mentioned:- We have a new web site since September 2023 and all the informations on this side are correct. - Our staff is always very helpful- Last year we renewed all accesses for a good internet in our house- We always answer mails and in our mails everything they need to know for their stay for the guests is explained. Even if you book through a channel, you get every information about check-in, check out times, ect.- All our guests have no problem with our vending machine.Best regardsHotel Astra

Amazing little hotel

We booked the hotel at the last minute and could not have been happier. It is being refurbished at the moment but that did not have any detrimental effects on our stay. The room was spotless , the shower was powerful and the staff are really friendly. The breakfast was well stocked with everything you would want. Great location for the tram to get out and about. Reasonable Hotel in an expensive city

Perfect for one night while traveling, relatively close to the autobahn. Nothing special but clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed and parking on the premises, which is not always the case in European cities. The rate included breakfast and the breakfast was perfect with many options. Great find...

I suppose I would call this a commercial traveller hotel - clean, quiet and efficient. Not centre of town but an excellent centre to be based for attending one of the exhibition at the vast exhibition Messe centre.My room was a single on the ground floor. Clean; bed comfortable; tv; wifi; bathroom with shower in a sort of low level tub (this may be difficult for someone with lack of leg mobility).Breakfast was good - decent choice - unusual choice of 3 honeys.

The hotel is ver very nice. It is quite and very clean. It is not to modern but you can actually see that it is trying to improve. The breakfast has enormous options and it is very very complete to all kind of person.
