  OK value hotel near DUS HBF

  Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. Just a minute or 2 walk on the Bertha von Suttner side of DUS HBF, in front of Leonardo Hotel. No fuss checkin, I was given a room at the 3rd Floor, with 2 singles beds side-by-side. This is a very basic accomodation with no amenities except for the hair dryer. REALLY small toilet, with corner shower. The bed is quiet comfortable, same with pillows. The window does not open vertically (like typical German windows), and I have a view of the neighbors' balconies. There are snacks, water, sodas etc... available by the lobby. As I have been in other B&B hotels in other German cities, I know what I am getting. The rate is not that cheap for that weekend (111EUR per night), but in other days the rates are lower like 61EUR or even 58EUR. Its clean enough. The area is ok, no crazies around most of the time, and relatively quiet. Overall ok.

  Good hotel with good location , near to the central train station HBF , you find also all station of metro and bus station , breakfast is correct and the room is small but very clean , this hotel is good for business or for transit , Personel are very kind This is my third visit to this hotel and I find it always good .

  Basic But Good Enough

  In a great location, just a 5-6 minute walk to the main station, including Main Line, S-Bahn & U-Bahn. I checked-in online so time spent at desk was minimal, likewise check-out. The hotel and rooms were spotless. My room was of a decent size with minimal space for clothes but only for one or 2 people for just a few days (only 3 hangers though so you may want to take your own.) Ablutions area was tiny, anyone with long legs may find it uncomfortable on the toilet but the shower was a good size with proper doors as opposed to a curtain. Along with the room, it was very clean. The dining room was a good enough size for the amount of guests using it for breakfast; breakfast itself was quite basic but decent. Cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread rolls, 5 types of ham, 2 of cheese, waffles and also a small hot sending of scrambled egg and small, round sausages (this warm selection was ok at the weekend but by Monday or was pretty poor.) Bar is 24/7 but is very limited. Overall, a good enough hotel for a no-frills, 3-night city break.

  The location of the hotel is perfect and it is very easy to reach all parts of the city. Breakfast is rich and delicious, room cleaning and hotel cleanliness are excellent. Staff are smiling and helpful.

  Quiet hotel located very close to the Central Railway station. Reasonable price. Good for short business trip. Within 20 minutes you can get to the Dusseldorf airport. Good quality of breakfast. But if you're planning family stay I would rather chose another hotel.
