  standard BandB hotel, everything was as expected, very good position, U-Bahn just across the street, still there is one older lady there very unpleasant to guests; always angry on something or somebody. other staff friendly, but when you see this angry lady... maybe I will choose another hotel next time

  Good Budget Hotel

  I've stayed at this hotel several time and I'd say this is a good budget hotel. You get quite a bit for your money. The rooms have A/C which is very nice on hot days as many more expensive hotels don't have this option in Dusseldorf. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The room itself is small but fine for one or two people, and it's always been very clean. I also really like that there is no checkout process required. You simply leave your room.The biggest downside to this hotel is that the breakfast is also quite mediocre. They do have some fruit and vegetables, but for not much more money I've gotten much much better breakfasts at other hotels. The second downside is that the street side of the hotel can be fairly noisy given the traffic and the tram stops. Light sleepers may find it a bit annoying, but I think most people won't be too disturbed.The hotel has no safe and this would be a nice improvement as I always have to carry anything remotely valuable with me when I leave the room.I was a bit surprised that this hotel has "Hbf" in the title as other commenters have noted it's not all that close to the Hauptbahnhof. It's roughly a 15 minute walk.

  -location great if you like the metro or tram-parking good and inclusief, but not to many spaces-Bed is hard with only one tiny soft pillow, gives you pain in the neck and backbone after one night sleep, ask for at least 3 pillows if you have already neck issues.Airco/heating system is switched of and can't be controlled by yourself, in the middle of the night it gets even a little bit to cold... for the one blanket you get....

  B&B Hotel Duesseldorf Hbf is nowhere near Hbf!

  A functional hotel. Service quite basic. Rooms too small for the price we paid, but clean and we had a good sleep. Breakfast was charged extra, and it was OK, reasonable selection of food.The biggest problem for us was the location. We picked this hotel specifically because we had lots of luggage and had to travel on a train the next day. Being called 'Hbf' we expected the hotel is near the Hauptbahnhof and hence we won't have to drag the luggage too far. Only to find out that it's not! It's still two metro stops away.

  very nice accommodation, according to budget, clean rooms, clean and very nice bathroom, good breakfast, good position with U-bahn just across the street but very nervous staff. last year I had the same problem - staff at reception and on breakfast is always so nervous
