  Better than you would expect from a Hotel Chain

  This is the 2nd time that we have stayed in this hotel whilst we visited the nearby Düsseldorf Christmas Market having had a pleasant experience here the year before. The hotel is a short tram ride away from the city centre and situated on the outskirts of the city in Neuss; but the city centre is easily accessible. There is also a shopping mall very close to the hotel which is also well worth visiting. When we arrived, we were given, without any kind of prompting, a complementary upgrade to a lovely room with super views over the nearby river. The room was well appointed, spacious, and scrupulously clean. The complimentary bath/shower products were lovely and the coffee/tea making facilities were well stocked. The hotel staff - despite horrendous rudeness shown to them by some of the guests; were just lovely. The breakfast staff in particular worked so hard, and kept everything clean, well stocked with a smile on their faces. The reception staff we beyond helpful, professional, kind and efficient and a credit to the hotel. Always friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. We didn't go into the bar area but can imagine that the same level of efficiency was also present there. As we came purely for the Christmas Market, I cannot comment on any of the other facilities. However, we will return to this hotel next year when we visit Dusseldorf as we felt valued as a customer and staying here, made our short trip even more enjoyable.   Okay'ish hotel with some issues

  The hotel in general looks good, on paper. But then in details the picture is not so brilliant. Beds, while comfortable, are covered with some kind of foil not transparent for humidity, which makes you sweating at night like a dog. Room heating/cooling works the way only the hotel staff probably can explain. The breakfast reveals all known large hotel's dirty tricks: the cheapest coffee tasting awful, fruit juices with added water and sugar, sweeties baked with cheap ingredients and soda, and so on. While the staff is friendly and helpful, rooms being rather clean (but not refreshed for a long time), pool and one of the two saunas available, the bar inviting, the mentioned cons made the stay a lot less enjoyable. If they work on those - will have a good hotel again.   This hotel makes zero effort for their customers.

  Accidently left my amazon firestick in the television's HDMI port. Called the reception an hour after I left. Told me they would look and call me back.They did not call me back, after calling again myself, they told me they couldn't not find it.That's very odd, considering it is was 100% certain in the HDMI port when I left. So either the receptionist is lying or someone is not looking in the correct place. Maybe someone with no technical knowledge perhaps.Rooms are alright, just horrible aftercare. No effort for customers included in their services.   Excellent people, excellent hotel

  A warm and cozy and comfortable place to go and relax. Located right at the Rhein River you can walk out the front door, cross the street and walk along the river for hours and take in the river and its beauty. The hotel is just outside the city centre but very conveniently located right off the train station (8 minute walk) and the 709 Tram line (5 minute walk) and in no time you're in the old town or the city center. If you are flying in to Dusseldorf Airport you would take the S11 train from the airport and go all the way to the Neuss Rheinpark Center stop. From the station it's about 8 minutes to walk to the hotel. Again, very convenient.Great value for great price. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza for your next stay.Bon Voyage!   Crowne Plaza stole my money

  I was charged extra money for no apparent reason yesterday (in December) and my stay was in October when we checked out and paid the entire amount at the checkout. I sent them multiple emails but I have not received a response from them yet, you have to enter your banking info in order to make a reservation but apparently the website is not trustworthy at all.
